Card-en-Ciel – Ver. 1.5.0

  • Release date: March 30th/31st 2025
  • Patch notes:
  • A new Endless Dungeon, Endless Dungeon: Speed, has been added.
    • An Endless Dungeon that challenges you to go as far as you can in 50 turns. You can choose the first Diva that will join you, and there is no limit to the number of Divas that can join. Try to clear the most floors by carefully balancing strength and speed.
  • 4 new Extra Dungeons have been added.
  • New Challenge Battles have been added.
  • Tutorial Battles have been added.
  • Other updates have been made.
    • When winning a battle in both Daily and Weekly Dungeons, you will now receive a bonus score based on the number of trap events that occured. The more such events occured, the higher the bonus score you can receive in a single battle (bonus is capped at 3 trap events).
    • You can now choose the first Diva that will join you in Weekly Dungeons.

Card-en-Ciel – Ver. 1.4.1

  • Release date: February 26th/27th 2025
  • Patch notes:
  • A new feature, Endless Dungeon, has been added.
  • New Parallel Cards have been added. These new cards are unlocked by completing Daily Dungeons after finishing the story.
  • Score requirements have been adjusted to make obtaining higher ranks on Dungeon Results simpler, with the exception of Hard +9.
  • Various other issues have been fixed.

Card-en-Ciel – Ver. 1.3.0

  • Release date: January 29th/30th 2025
  • Patch notes:
  • A new feature, the MOD Database, has been added. (Can be accessed from card details or enemy details in battle)
  • New Extra Dungeons have been added.
  • New Parallel Cards have been added. These new cards are unlocked by completing Daily Dungeons after finishing the story.
  • Deck contents can now be accessed from the Dungeon Results screen.
  • Text concerning the effect of “Install” abilities has been adjusted in several places.
  • Various other issues have been fixed.

Card-en-Ciel – Ver. 1.2.0

  • Release date: December 23rd/24th 2024
  • Patch notes:
  • A new system, Challenge Battle mode, has been added.
  • A new system, Parallel Cards, has been added.
  • A feature that allows Wild Card presets to be saved/loaded has been added.
  • Accessibility options have been added to the Options menu.
  • Unobtained cards will now be marked with an icon (available after clearing the main story).
  • Various other issues have been fixed.

Card-en-Ciel – Ver. 1.1.0

  • Release date: November 27th/28th 2024
  • Patch notes:

No patch notes available yet. This update brings the following to the game:

  • adds 4 new Extra Dungeons
    • In Extra Dungeon 4, players draw an extra 3 cards a turn, making it much easier to build devastating combos and find their most powerful cards.
    • Every battle in Extra Dungeon 5 will start with a treasure chest, rewarding players with rare cards if they can protect it to the end.
    • The starting deck in Extra Dungeon 6 will include 2 rare cheat codes from the very start.
    • Extra Dungeon SP 2, a dungeon with 9 floors, triple the amount of any other dungeon. This also means 6 more Muses available to players, enabling truly superior deck builds. But each floor will pose an increasingly harder challenge, with the hardest boss to date waiting at the end.

How to download updates for Card-en-Ciel for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Card-en-Ciel, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
