Bravely Second: screenshots / artworks for the new jobs and Yunohana Village

With less than a week until release in Japan, Square-Enix is still revealing new information and new screenshots / artworks for Bravely Second: End Layer. Let’s start right away with the two new jobs revealed last week in Jump magazine:

– Fencer: a job focused on attack, and capable on dealing quite a lot of damage. They use stances to apply various effects to themselves or their attacks. For example, “Bison Horn” increases their defense, while “Falcon Claw” increases their speed and allows them to attack four times in a row during the same turn.

– Bishop: they’re healers, using Holy Magic. They use various spells such as the usual “Heal”, but also “Divine Night” which actually turns into HP the damage you take when using Default. Thanks to their job strait, called “Reiteration”, the power of spells is increased whenever they’re used twice in a row.

Next, Square-Enix is introducing a brand new village called Yunohana. It’s a hot-spring village located in the northeast of the Eisen region. It inherited the culture style of an eastern country which is said to have disappeared abruptly several hundred years ago. To reach it, you’ll have to use one of the new means of transportation of the game: a rowboat, that can only go in places where the waters are shallow.

Finally, here’s the new screenshots and artworks for Bravely Second: End Layer, showcasing the two new jobs, the returning jobs and asterisk holders, and Yunohana:

Don’t forget Dengeki Online’s live playthrough of Bravely Default is still going! And next Tuesday, Square-Enix will have a special livestream, too!

Bravely Second: End Layer (3DS) comes out on April 23rd in Japan.
