Gameplay:

  • Fixed a brief pause at the start of some game modes.
  • Addressed a firing rate issue with the L1 bomb.
  • (LS Mode Standard) Adjusted enemy pattern in Wave 34.
  • (Blast Rush MD) Game now starts with Confirm button to allow use of pause menu earlier.
  • (Gust Gauntlet) Adjusted an overlapping group of enemies.
  • (Gust Gauntlet) Changed how music restarts between lives to address a looping glitch.

UI:

  • Control remap options added to Pause Menu.
  • (Library) Most menu navigation now wraps top to bottom and vice versa.
  • (Library) Fixed a bug with restarting the Credits roll.

Blast Rush LS – Ver. 1.0.1

No patch notes available yet. This update brings the following to the game:

  • an issue with unlock progression (Blast Box Tier 2)
    • Workaround – Quickly enter the following code on the main menu: Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, LS, B, B, LS
  • adds new control-scheme presets that can be found under Settings
  • bug fixes

How to download updates for Blast Rush LS on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Blast Rush LS, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
