Azure Striker Gunvolt 2: new characters revealed, screenshots, footage, songs previews

Craving for some new details about Azure Striker Gunvolt 2? If yes, you’re in luck: Inti Creates revealed three new characters earlier today. And this time around, they posted the official English translation of the details right away. Of course, there’s also some artworks and screenshots showcasing the new characters.

Here’s the three new characters to be found in Azure Striker Gunvolt 2:

Xiao Wu (voiced by Chiaki Omigawa): a young boy who prefers to be called Xiao, and provides support for Gunvolt as his operator. Back in how home country, he worked for a division of QUILL, but he was forced to flee across the sea when his unit was taken over by the invading forces of “Eden”. He decided to join up with Gunvolt in order to report that invasion. Xiao Wu is described as a pretty straight-laced, and serious person. He’s come to deeply hate Eden due to their invasion, and bringing that topic reveals a very emotional side of him that is not often seen. It also clashes with his usually quite calm and gentle demeanor.

Mytyl: Copen’s twin younger sister. Just like him, she does not possess a single ounce of septimal powers. She has a pretty weak constitution, which is why she spends her day in a long-term medical facility. What’s more, she had surgery at a very young age, which made her lose her voice (which explains why she doesn’t have a VA). She communicate with people using a tablet. She’s not very tall (most likely due to her frail constituton), and her appearance make her look much younger than she really is. But she’s actually the same age as her brother. Finally, despite being his sister, Copen never tell her anything about his battles.

Nori (voiced by Ayumi Tsunematsu): a cool and collected maid working for Copen and his sister Mytyl. There’s nothing she cannot handle: housework, battle support… she even acts as Copen’s operator when he goes out on missions. Sometimes, she becomes more than just a maid, and plays the role of a (very strict) foster parent. Since Copen is pretty rich, he can do technical research in order to enact his revenge. However, Nori simply refuses to help him with both, but we don’t know why.
