AC Happy Home Designer: TV Commercials for the amiibo cards, Guide book (Japan)

This morning, Nintendo uploaded a TV Commercial for the first series of Animal Crossing amiibo cards, in Japan. It shows how you can invite various animals in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, design a home for them, and then hang out with them at their new place. The cards themselves aren’t required, but they guarantee you get the animals you want (they are unlocked randomly, otherwise).

Still in Japan, Famitsu released their “Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Perfect Guide Book” last week. Animal Crossing: Wirld World and Animal Crossing: New Leaf got one, so it’s not surprising Famitsu made a Guide Book for the spin-off, especially since there’s quite a lot of things to do in the game.

The Guide Book is made of 736 pages, and includes various pieces of advice for beginners, some tips for players trying to design the many homes and public facilities, lists of decoration items/furtniture/accessories, QR Codes to unlock designs, and much more. There’s also a nice index, so you can easily find what you want in this huge guide!

Here’s some preview pages:

  • 736 pages (size: A5)
  • Price: 1296 Yen
