Splatoon: results for the 11th Splatfest (Pokémon)
The 11th Splatfest took place yesterday worldwide, and as announced on Friday, the results were not revealed one hour after each festival (as is always the case). Instead, Nintendo waited until each one was over and… waited some more due to unannounced maintenance (at least, it didn’t happen during the Splatfest itself).
The results are finally in, and they are as follows: in all regions, Pokémon Red was the most popular by a wide marging (except in North America, where it was slightly smaller but still significant enough). However, Team Pokémon Blue / Green ended up winning more matches (as is often the case in Splatfest, with the least popular team playing better), which allowed them to win in the end.
Here’s the results for each region:
Europe
- Popularity: Team Pokémon Red (64%) vs. Team Pokémon Blue (36%)
- Wins: Team Pokémon Red (43%) vs. Team Pokémon Blue (57%)
- Global score: Team Pokémon Red (322) vs. Team Pokémon Blue (378)
Japan
- Popularity: Team Pokémon Red (61%) vs. Team Pokémon Green (39%)
- Wins: Team Pokémon Red (36%) vs. Team Pokémon Green (64%)
- Global score: Team Pokémon Red (277) vs. Team Pokémon Green (423)
North America
- Popularity: Team Pokémon Red (55%) vs. Team Pokémon Blue (45%)
- Wins: Team Pokémon Red (41%) vs. Team Pokémon Blue (59%)
- Global score: Team Pokémon Red (301) vs. Team Pokémon Blue (399)
