Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave to get manga adaption (Update: Chapter 0 now available on Nintendo Today!)
From February 2023 to June 2026, Fire Emblem Engage received an official manga adaption in Saikyou Jump magazine (and via the Jump+ app). And immediately following the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Direct on August 4th, Intelligent Systems announced that Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave would also get its own manga adaption!
The Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave manga is penned by none other than Kyou Kazuro, who was already in charge of the Fire Emblem Engage manga. And just like its predecessor, this new manga is published in Saikyou Jump (monthly magazine) and via the Jump+ app.
And good news for fans who cannot read Japanese: the manga is seemingly getting an official English localisation via the Nintendo Today! app… well, the Prologue is, at least! Unfortunately, it’s not clear if only the Prologue is getting translated, or if subsequent chapters will also be made available in English via the Nintendo Today! app (or any other mean). The final page of the Prologue does mention that the original manga is only available in Japanese, after all…
The first chapter is the Prologue (Chapter 0), and it’s featured in the October 2026 issue of Saikyou Jump, which released on September 4th in Japan (nearly two weeks before the game itself comes out!). This chapter serves as an introduction to the story.
