Heave Ho 2 – Ver. ??? (Hotfix 2)

Patch notes:

Gameplay: The Versus Tutorial can now be completed solo, including the last man standing section.
Gameplay: Farts are now much more effective against other players.
Gameplay: Death pictures are now much easier to take. Players no longer need to be both dead and alive at the same time.
Multiplayer: Ropes no longer break when attached to a moving platform, such as in Shipwrecked.
Multiplayer: When fish bite characters, they now force them to let go of whatever they’re grabbing, improving multiplayer stability.
Multiplayer: Laser gun projectiles now have a longer lifetime to prevent them from being destroyed on the host while still flying on clients.
Multiplayer: Lightsaber collisions now display VFX for all players.
Sound: Event priorities have been updated to prevent the music from pausing when too many sound sources are active.
VFX: Fixed an issue where floating plank particles could sometimes spawn outside the water.
VFX: Drone Joystick now smoothly return to their neutral position when released.

Network: Improved latency checks to better determine the optimal lobby region.
Accessibility: Cleaned up the default controller bindings.
Accessibility: Reduced vibration intensity on Switch 2 controllers.
Sound: Fixed some persistent sound sources that were not being cleaned up properly.
Gameplay: Updated the respawn point in Shipwrecked Stage 3, making it easier to respawn from the last checkpoint.

How to download updates for Heave Ho 2 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2?

To download the updates for Heave Ho 2, you have three options:

let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
