Moonlight Peaks – Ver. 1.1.4.5

  • Added a photo-sensitivity warning when the game first starts.
  • Fixed an issue where star signs of the Star Gazing minigame were obstructed by the black bars on wide screen monitors.
  • Fixed an issue where the Loveage Gift Exchange could soft lock the game.
  • Fixed animals in Luna’s shop becoming permanently unavailable after a heart event with Pumpkin Head.
  • Increased the chance of Weeping Willows respawning in the Howling Marshes to improve late-game access to dark wood.
    • Additional improvements are coming in 1.2.
  • Fixed an issue where the player could escape the Recover the Moon quest without finishing its objective.
  • Players that have experienced this issue and currently can’t continue will automatically proceed to the next quest upon starting the next day.
  • Fixed memory leaks caused by the Bee House and Firefly Sanctuary.
  • Improved performance when using a mouse while having a lot of interactables.
  • Improved performance when having a lot of Farm Helpers (Furnace, Refiner, etc.).
  • Improved performance when picking up a lot of items at the same time.
  • Fixed various text issues.
  • Fixed an issue where the embroidery table was not visible.
  • Fixed an issue where the game could not be loaded after upgrading the player’s house.
  • Fixed tree seeds not being plantable during all seasons.
  • Fixed tree seeds showing incorrect seasons in some places.
  • Fixed an issue where decorations on tables or shelves would not remove them from inventory.
  • Fixed an issue where crops did not grow during rainy nights.
  • Fixed an issue that caused save files to become corrupt by exiting the game during saving.
  • Improved loading times for all scenes. 
  • House Storage is now available from the entire plot, including barns and greenhouses.
  • Items can now be transferred from and to House Storage using Quick Transfer.
  • Embroidery now unlocks sooner.
    • This allows NPCs that go on Embroidery dates to be asked on a date sooner.
  • Tree seeds now show the seasons their produce grows, instead of the seasons the tree itself grows. 
  • Added more Vampire Sketches from Brook.
  • Fixed the Net using energy on missed swings.
  • Fixed getting stuck in the Loveage Gift Exchange dialogue.
  • Fixed getting stuck after gifting Seaweed to anyone.
  • Fixed issue where beehives on plot caused performance issues when inside a building.
  • Fixed issue where Kim’s first Heart Event could cause time to pause until restarting.
  • Fixed issue where save files went missing. Those missing save files are restored.
    • This fix does not apply to save files becoming corrupt by closing the game while saving.
  • Fixed issue where some crops and trees did not grow to maturity.
  • Fixed not receiving a Nokturna card reward when exiting after inspecting the board on match end.
  • Fixed the Crow Introduction, Dead Crops, and Keg cutscenes causing other cutscenes on plot not to trigger.
  • E.g. Death handing over the Antique Clock and some NPC Heart Events.
  • Fixed issue where ingredients with no quality stay in inventory when crafting higher tier items.
  • Fixed issue where higher quality items placed in decorate mode would not be removed from inventory
  • Fixed Orlock being hard to interact with while sitting on a bench.
  • Fixed Moonlight Ball crowning ceremony taking too long to start.
  • Fixed Aras heart event showing sparkles on the tailor shop instead of town.
  • Fixed not being able to dig up Dig Spots near shore as Hellkitten.
  • Fixed issue where some NPCs stopped responding to gifts.
  • Fixed getting stuck when picking specific flowers in Pink Grove.
  • Fixed issue where upgrading the house can cause contents of Storage Crates to get lost.
  • Fixed issue where upgrading the house can cause decorations to lose their quality.
  • Fixed issue that caused not being able to interact with anything on gamepad.
    • The underlying issue was that the cursor, hidden because the gamepad was targeted, was hovering over UI elements.
  • Fixed not being able to bind multiple actions to the same input.
  • Fixed short freezes every 5-20s
  • Fixed player getting stuck in slow walking animation when exiting doors
  • Fixed soft lock during the “new card” sequence while playing Nokturna
  • Fixed L and R buttons not working anywhere

How to download updates for Moonlight Peaks on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2?

To download the updates for Moonlight Peaks, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
