Splatoon Raiders launches on July 23rd alongside new Deep Cut amiibo

First revealed back in June 2025 (less than a week after the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2), Splatoon Raiders is a single-player spin-off of the Splatoon series. And after months of radio silence, Nintendo has finally revealed a brand new trailer for the game AND the release date!

Splatoon Raiders will launch on July 23rd worldwide, and as previously announced, it will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2.

Here’s the latest trailer:

Splat scores of enemies and hunt for treasure in a single-player focused action shooter

Play as a mechanic working with Deep Cut—a trio of swashbuckling musicians—and venture out into the mysterious Spirhalite Islands! Customize your character, kit yourself out with mechanical gadgets and ink-splattering weapons, and take on waves of foes called Salmonids as you raid the islands for salvage.

While Splatoon Raiders is clearly labelled as a Single Player game, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to play with your friends. Not only will one member of Deep Cup accompany you during your raids, Nintendo has also confirmed the game will be playable with up to 3 friends via local multiplayer or online!

This is mainly a single-player adventure, but you won’t be alone: one member of Deep Cut will raid alongside you in a powerful bot. You can also join with up to three other players online or via local wireless.

And on the same day as the game, Nintendo will release new amiibo of Shiver, Frye, and Big Man from Deep Cut. They will be available separately in Japan and North America, but in Europe, they will launch as a set. Neat little detail: the base of those amiibo can be combined, allowing you to display all 3 figures together!

Splatoon Raiders (Switch 2) comes out on July 23rd worldwide.
