LEGO Party! – Ver. 1.3.0

  • Release date: December 11th/12th 2025
  • Patch notes (highlights):

  • Easy difficulty returns to LEGO® Party! Fun for the whole family, and not the CPU’s
  • New exciting levels (130+) added to 20 different Minigames
  • New Minifigures added and 250+ new parts to customise your Minifigure with
  • Keep the pace up, with the new ability to skip CPU turns in the Minigames
  • Improved stability of our online lobbies and rejoin functionality
  • Players no longer end up in the void when slapped in the Minigame results area
  • Ted & Paige got a formal warning about some of their jokes, they will be less mean spirited from now on
  • Earned Trophies & Achievements now unlock for all players
  • Various bug fixes and performance improvements

Difficulty Changes

  • Added New ‘Easy’ Mode difficulty
  • Expert CPU’s now be able to complete Stop, Drop & Side Scroll
  • Expert CPU now play at the appropriate difficulty in Aim to Please
  • Human replacement CPUs now appear at Normal Difficulty

Minigame Changes/Fixes

  • Added ability to skip CPU turns in turn based Minigames
  • Readying up now skips your turn in Minigame practice
  • Fixed missing shadows on Wrecking Brawl
  • Light the Way minigame now show the light moving for the host as expected
  • Drones in Deep Space Dine no longer get stuck in the corner
  • Removed white boxes during transition in Arty Smarty
  • Fixed online animations in Drill & Chill minigame
  • Grey boxes now disappear in Turning Heads minigame
  • Player now respawn the correct way in Stop, Drop & Side Scroll
  • Cursor no longer appears before game start on quiz Minigames
  • Ten Pin Rolling scoring changed for more dynamic scores
  • Fixed rank positions in Simplified Chinese
  • Fixed controller instructions in Brick Brigade

UI/UX & Menu Fixes

  • Fixed stuttering when opening certain progression menus
  • Added Random option to Minigames game mode
  • Improved messaging on input of a bad name
  • Player no longer go slow motion when disconnecting back to the main menu
  • Removed excess noise when scrolling in social screen
  • Removed Rename button when playing local co-op
  • Loading screen text no longer clash with rejoin text
  • Scrolling the unlocks screen now speed up when button is held
  • Choice arrows now clear correctly in game show screens
  • Players can now save their game twice in a row, without losing their save

Challenge Zone Fixes

  • Challenge Zone junctions now use the same arrow key inputs as other minifigure movements
  • Playing the Pirate Challenge Zone for the first time now level the player up after completion
  • Slow Roller power up now give the correct number landed on
  • Added Golden Brick animation to the chest in Pirate Challenge Zone
  • Added Golden Brick decal to voting island
  • Added loading notification to map opening sequence
  • Removed disconnect icon from trap sign
  • Fixed white UI on chance space brick exchange
  • Fixed lighting on the Cat Bus in Space Challenge Zone
  • Removed Crystal King sword swipe effect remaining on screen in NINJAGO® challenge zone

  • Players can no longer slap each other out of bounds in Minigame Results
  • Local achievements earned now unlock across both player profiles
  • Fixed lag on spinning emote when playing crossplay
  • Added a bunch of missing studs to various models in the game
  • Removed some mean spirited voiceover lines
  • Updated Dock Icon on PC
  • Minifigures now load faster in the lobby
  • Various minor voiceover fixes
  • Minor localisation fixes across multiple languages

LEGO Party! – Ver. 1.2.0

  • Release date: November 6th/7th 2025
  • Patch notes:

  • New Minifigures – Classic Spaceman (Blue) and free unlock of the Skeleton Suit Fan. More minifigures are coming soon!
  • Improvements to rejoining games in the case of player drop outs.
  • Difficulty settings now renamed to Normal, Hard, and Expert. New Easy mode coming soon.
  • Our CPU players have had a stern talking to. AI balancing applied to the following minigames; Shocking Accuracy, Saucerlord, Fancy Lancy, Very Tall Race, Perfect Pillars, Snailed It, Deep Space Dine, Quick Bricks, and Stop Drop & Side Scroll.
  • Ted & Paige (announcers) now can be toggled off separately to other characters. Look, they love to talk—that’s their job—but we hear you!
  • Updated save game UI – you can access your saves from the game’s Main Menu.
  • Many other minor bug fixes and optimizations across the UI, minigames, and challenge zones.

How to download updates for LEGO Party! on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for LEGO Party!, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
