Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation announced for April 2nd, Nintendo Treehouse Live on April 3rd and April 4th
On January 16th, Nintendo finally revealed the elusive successor to the Nintendo Switch: the Nintendo Switch 2. Unfortunately, the reveal trailer focused almost exclusively on Hardware, and only showed one game: a new Mario Kart. But this April, Nintendo will give us a longer look at the Nintendo Switch 2 during a new Nintendo Direct presentation entirely dedicated to it.
This Nintendo Switch 2 Direct was livestreamed on April 2nd, and gave us a better look at Nintendo’s new hybrid console. It’s where Nintendo reveal its first games for it, as well as further details (features, release date, etc.). It lasted approximately 60 minutes (around 1 hour).
The presentation was livestreamed on April 2nd at the following time:
- Europe: 3PM
- UK: 2PM
- North America (ET): 9AM
- North America (PT): 6AM
- Japan: 10PM
- Australia (AEDT): 12AM on April 3rd

And that’s not all! Nintendo Treehouse Live is also making a comeback on April 3rd and April 4th. On those two days, members of the Nintendo Treehouse will showcase the freshly-announced Nintendo Switch 2 games live.
The Nintendo Treehouse Live: Nintendo Switch 2 streams will go live on April 3rd and April 4th at the following times:
- Europe: 4PM
- UK: 3PM
- North America (ET): 10AM
- North America (PT): 7AM
- Japan: 11PM
