Lazriel: The Demon’s Fall – Ver. ???

• Release date: July 24th 2024 (North America, Europe) / July 25th 2024 (Japan)
• Patch notes:

1. Added Hard Mode “Seven Deadly Sins”

• In Hard Mode, the game starts with special mutations.
• Select “New Game” with data that has cleared Ending A.
• Initially, you can select only one mutation.
• As you reach Ending A with the maximum number of selectable mutations, the number of selectable mutations increases.
• Aim to clear the game with all 7 mutations!

2. Adjusted Game Balance

a. Card Adjustments

 

【Protect Wall】

• Changed damage reduction from 8 to 10.

【Thorny Thorn】【Crystal Thorn】

• No longer consume a turn when used.

【Quick Work】

• Changed effect from “Redraw without consuming a turn” to “Discard hand, then draw the same number of cards.”

【Burst Arrow】

• Changed power from 4 to 5.

【Atone Arrow】

• Changed power from 4 to 3.
• Additional effect power increase also changed from 4 to 3.

【Follow-through】

• Changed power from 4 to 3.
• Changed Pure increase from 2 to 1.
• Changed range from 2 to 3.
• Changed effect from “Draw 1 card if this card kills an enemy” to “+1 Mental Strength if enemy defeated.”

b. Mutation Adjustments

 

【Carnivore】

• Changed meat recovery increase value from 8 to 5.
• Changed meat Karma increase value from 10 to 4.

【Poison Touch】

• Changed meat recovery decrease value from 5 to 3.

c. Enemy Status Adjustments

 

【Imp】

• Changed HP from 13 to 12.
• Changed attack power from 7 to 6.

【Shade】

• Changed HP from 15 to 14.

【Ghoul】

• Changed attack power from 7 to 6.

3. Other Changes

• Result screen now displays upon clearing.
• Removed Fallen Angel card “Full Burst.”
• Added Fallen Angel card “Samsara.”
• Changed Mental Strength mechanic.
  • Mental Strength now halves instead of resetting to 0 when ascending stairs.
  • Set the maximum Willpower value to 9.
• “Purity Arrow” and “Holy Shot” effects will not activate when Karma is 0.
• Fixed a bug occuring in the Nintendo Switch version causing piercing arrows to hit twice.

How to download updates for Lazriel: The Demon’s Fall for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Lazriel: The Demon’s Fall, you have three options:

• let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

• try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

• select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
