NEW CONTENT
To kick off the events of A Hero’s Journey, you will just need to have the Dream Castle unlocked!
- Step through a new Realm door to arrive on a training island owned by the wise satyr, Phil! But wait, this once illuminated island is severely dimmed… Could this be the Realmweaver’s handiwork? Train and prove you’re fit to be a hero and help illuminate the island once again!
- Join forces with Hercules to reach the gods and restore Phil’s training island back to its former glory. After displaying your heroic wits, you’ll be able to invite Herc back to your Valley, and with a little extra convincing, Phil will follow soon after.
- Place Hercules’s gorgeous House and get access to this duo’s individual Friendship Quests and rewards!
- Channel your inner deity and embrace your power in the Godly Glamor Star Path! Relish in new radiant attires and ancient furniture to create an atmosphere fit for the gods. Journey through the Star Path to unlock a Mythical Cloud Glider, Pink Baby Pegasus, Hercules’ Divine Glow Dream Style and the Olympian Cloud Mansion
- House Style!
- From June 10 to June 30, the Dreamlight Parks Fest Event is back! Find and collect buttons appearing around your Valley for a chance to earn all previous and new rewards!
- Then from July 15 to July 28, embark on the new Picture Pursuit Event! Complete daily quests from certain Villagers, locate and snap a photo of strange motifs to unlock them for personal use and collect them all for an exclusive Photo Mode frame!
- The Premium Shop is getting a fresh new look, just in time for the new Hercules Bundle, featuring a new Gilded Agora Building Kit, Grecian Villa House Style and the ability to summon a fierce new ally with the new good-good-good puppy companion!
- Jasmine’s loyal companion, Rajah, will also be arriving in the new Cozy Companion Rajah Bundle, bringing unique interactions with Aladdin and Jasmine, Photo Mode poses, an exclusive friendship reward, and even a Tiger Cub companion!
- More exciting items are coming to the Premium Shop, such as an exquisite new Dream Style for Ariel, Moana’s very own parade float, and mount accessories!
- You’ll also want to keep an eye out on Scrooge McDuck’s General Store for brand-new items! As of this update, you’ll be able to find new clothing and furniture items each week, such as the Regal Printed Skirt, Firework Waistcoat, Crown of Helios, Grecian Stone Bench, Golden Shores Suit, and more.
- Seasonal Moonstone packs will also be available for a limited time.
IMPROVEMENTS
DREAMSNAPS
Unlimited Skips
- As of the A Hero’s Journey update, we’re removing the limit on skips during DreamSnaps voting, allowing you more freedom on deciding which photos you’d like to vote for!
DECORATING
Presets
- Behold, an all-new way to decorate your Valley with decoration Presets! This feature works alongside Group Mode and will now allow you to select a section of your Valley and save the items placed inside as a Preset, allowing you to remove, copy, and replace decorated sections with ease!
- If you don’t own enough of an item to complete a saved Preset, a highlighted placeholder called a Mirage will stand in its place. You will then be able to interact with the Mirage to buy or craft the missing items and place them instantly.
OLAF’S GRAND EXHIBITION
New Exhibition Rooms
- In A Hero’s Journey, Olaf’s Grand Exhibition will open two new rooms—the Forest of Valor and the Glade of Trust.
General Improvements
Other general improvements to the Grand Exhibition include:
- Transparencies for needed items on each Keyhole
- A list of names for each item needed in the description section
- Tracking Keyholes now observe the Backpack instead of the global storage.
- If a room is unreleased, there is a “Coming Soon” note on it.
PHOTO MODE
Villager Poses
- New Photo Mode options will give you even more creative control when you want to strike a pose with your favorite Villagers!
- Choose exactly where and how to place your Villagers, what attitude animations they’ll be using, and even if you want to have them pause at some point in the animation!
Camera Views
- In addition, we’ve also improved the long-range/free Camera view to give you more flexibility to get the perfect shot!
MISC.
Player Level
- Level up with the new player level cap, which is increasing from 40 to 50! Earn Friendship XP and progress through even more levels to unlock new exclusive fashions and furniture items.
Critter Schedules
- To facilitate locating some of the rarer critters in your Valley, we’ve updated some of their schedules:
- Squirrel: White Squirrel -> All Day (Sundays)
- Rabbit: Calico Rabbit -> All Day (Thursdays)
- Turtle: Black Sea Turtle-> All Day (Mondays)
- Raccoon: Blue Raccoon -> All Day (Wednesdays)
- Crocodile: White Crocodile -> All Day (Sundays) | Pink Crocodile -> All Day (Saturdays)
- Sunbird: Orchid Sunbird -> All Day (Fridays)
- Fox: Red Fox -> All Day (Saturdays)
- Raven: Brown Raven -> All Day (Tuesdays)
- Monkey: Black and Gray Monkey -> All Day (Tuesdays)
- Capybara: Red and White Striped Capybara -> All Day (Saturdays)

Scrooge’s Store
- In this update, we’ve also improved spawning odds for items that are not owned to have more diverse options between Scrooge’s Store in different Villages and better chances of seeing new items from one day to another.

- Fixed an issue in the Grand Exhibition where sometimes the same item could be placed in two slots of a display and could not be removed.
- Fixed an issue where Olaf would sometimes not appear in the Grand Exhibition.
- Fixed an issue with Decoration Presets where the grid preview of items may be offset.
- Fixed an issue with where the crafting menu would scroll back to the top after each crafting.
- Fixed an issue where the Edwardian Dog Bath may not be registered when added to the Inventory for the “Cleanliness Is Next to Dogliness” quest.
- Fixed an issue with “The Dark Castle” quest where you might not be able to go through a door.
- Fixed an issue in “A Fishy Dispute” quest where a location may not be fishable.
- Fixed an issue with the “An Alarming Development” quest where the alarm clocks are not registering as being in the Inventory.
- Fixed an issue in “The Decay of Fashion” where the quest is missing instructions.
- Fixed an issue in the “Canine Cuisine” quest where the quest might not progress even after cooking the Doggy Donut.
- Fixed an issue in the “Furniture Fluster” quest where you may not be able to pick up the Red Bench.
- Fixed an issue in the “Canine Archaeology” quest where you may not be able to dig up the piece of statue in the Forgotten Lands.
- Fixed an issue where the Railway Station Ticket Booth couldn’t be placed on the sides of the Railway Station Entrance.
- Fixed an issue where items couldn’t be placed on top of the tracks included in the Railway Station Set.
- Fixed an issue where the game could become soft-locked after changing the Player House Style and moving the House to another Biome.
- Fixed an issue where the Cozy Star Observatory House Style had flickering issues on some of its textures.
- Improved the time it took to open the Customize category of the Furniture menu.
- Fixed an issue where items placed on the Icy Mountain River Kit couldn’t be removed.
- Fixed an issue where Aurora’s audio was too loud.
- Fixed an issue where ready-to-collect Dreamlight Duties disappear after the section refreshes the next time you load your game.
- Fixed an issue with the Luminous Vivarium Wall where it would project outside lighting on the floor.
- Fixed an issue where the male Avatar would look to the side during certain actions on the horse.
- Fixed an issue where there was no UI to confirm you could duplicate a flower if you had one in the same Inventory.
- Fixed an issue where the game could soft-lock after rapidly pressing the cook icon with the Skip Result Screen option enabled.
- Fixed an issue where the Avatar’s face could become distorted in preview screens when equipping certain umbrellas.
- Fixed an issue where there was a missing texture on the roof of the Scrooge McDuck’s Holiday Shop House Style.
- Fixed a visual issue with the cloak of the Adventuring Anna Costume.
- Fixed an issue where sunflowers in some assets would appear to be broken.
- Fixed an issue where several actions are not doable in a specific radius around the Cozy Rainy House Style.

Disney Dreamlight Valley – Ver. ??? (Whispers of the Wind)

NEW CONTENT
To kick off the events of Whispers of the Wind, you will need to have unlocked Moana in your Valley as well as the Forest of Valor, and Dazzle Beach biomes.
- With the help of another fellow ocean adventurer, you’ll follow swirling leaves to a mysterious island, where you’ll piece together memories to bring Pocahontas to your Valley!
- Pocahontas will bring her very own Yehakin back to your Valley and help you learn all about the whimsical Moontide Glow phenomenon changing the oceans.
- After helping her throw a Celestial Celebration, you’ll use the starlight’s glow to craft a special bait and welcome a new companion – Meeko!
- Blossom your friendship level with Pocahontas through her quests and unlock additional beautiful friendship rewards, such as her signature clothing set.
- Celebrate your progress in the Valley in Olaf’s Grand Exhibition, a new hub showcasing items across the Valley’s biomes. Read more about this awesome new feature below!
- Embrace nature-inspired fashion in the new Elements of Nature Star Path! Unlock lush new furniture and befriend the Hermit Garden Turtle companion!
- This update also introduces Vault Rewards, a new Star Path feature that lets you earn select rewards from previous Star Paths by completing Routine Duties. Read more about this exciting new Star Path feature below!
- From April 29 to May 19, explore the Spring Floating Festival for new puzzles and rewards.
- From May 27 to June 9, the Troves of Treasure event returns — follow rippling waters to uncover hidden notes and earn golden rewards.
- Add a splash of color with the new Colors of Nature Collection, which will contain the Natural Pergola Set as well as new looks for Goofy’s Stall, the Wishing Well, two unique swirling wind leaves effects, and an adorable new companion — Percy from Disney’s Pocahontas!

OLAF’S GRAND EXHIBITION
To access this new feature, you will need to have unlocked Olaf, from Disney’s Frozen.
Welcome to Olaf’s Grand Exhibition! A new place where you can relive your Disney Dreamlight Valley experience and display your grand collection!
- Upon entering the Grand Exhibition you’ll find yourself in the impeccable lobby, complete with a miniature replica of the Valley. Here, you will find your host, Olaf, and various doors leading to display rooms featuring various exhibitions.
- Each room will correspond to a specific biome in your base game Valley. At its inauguration, the Grand Exhibition will have two rooms on display: the Peaceful Meadow, and Dazzle Beach. More rooms will be arriving in future updates.
- Each room will consist of three grand displays: a story Diorama, a tranquil Aquarium, and a lively Habitat. Once unlocked, you’ll be able to add to these displays and unlock them for your own valley!
Diorama
- To unlock, you will need to display a collection of biome-specific flowers.
- You can then complete the Blueprint panels to add biome-specific storyline elements to a Diorama.
Aquarium
- To unlock, you will need to display a collection of biome-specific gems.
- You can then fill an Aquarium with biome-specific fish.
Habitat
- To unlock, you will need to display a collection of biome-specific foods.
- You can then fill a Habitat with biome-specific companions.
We’re so excited to finally have a place in the Valley where you can display your collections and view your achievements!
IMPROVEMENTS
PERFORMANCE
- In this update, Disney Dreamlight Valley will see up to an additional 5 fps boost on the Nintendo Switch! This means players with the most decorated Valleys will see up to 20% faster frame rates following optimizations.
STAR PATH
Star Path Vault Rewards
- These brand-new reward paths will exist on top of the current ones!
- Rewards found in the Vault will be made up of previous Star Path rewards you might have missed.
- If you already own a specific reward in the Vault, it will be marked as such and, in its place, you will receive a random Red Chest.
- Premium Star Path players will have access to additional Vault rewards that are reimagined versions of previous rewards.
- Vault rewards are unlocked linearly and only require the completion of Routine Duties.
- For every three Routine Duties completed, you will unlock one Vault reward.
Star Path Rewards
- The “Bonus Rewards” sub-menu has been removed.
- Bonus Rewards are now visible in the general “Rewards” screen. These rewards have been highlighted to be visually distinct from the regular rewards.
- The “Rewards” screen now also includes a grid toggle, rewards type and DreamSnaps tags for all reward previews.
CRAFTING
Crafting and Uncrafting Station Menus
- Crafting and Uncrafting Station menus now use the same categories as the furniture menu and the Scrooge Shop Delivery menu.
- We’ve also added sections for Quest and Event Crafting Recipes.
- We added search and filters to both these menus.
DECORATING
Group Mode Selector
- When you’re outside: + 50% size
- When you’re inside: increased size to be able to cover the largest room size (roughly + 130%)
- We’ve also improved selection zone visibility over water.
Fencing and Path Categories
- Some changes have been made to the items found in the Fencing and Path categories that more accurately reflect the Fencing and Path systems.
MISC
Scrooge Store
- Starting this update, you can now expect to see exquisite new clothing items hit the shelves in Scrooge’s Store, like a Blue and White Cottage Dress, a Violet Ombre Strapless Gown, a Violet Ombre Sleeved Gown, a Jewel-Toned Cottage Dress, and more!
- New furniture items will also become available once Pocahontas has joined your Valley!
Reward Screen
- We’ve revamped animations for when you collect in-game rewards!
TOP CHANGES AND BUG FIXES
- Fixed an issue in “The Trial of Virtue” quest where it might not have registered that the knight and dragon were in the correct position.
- After loading into the Valley, the step to place furniture items in “The Trial of Virtue” will not progress automatically. To continue, you’ll need to re-enter the Trial area.
- Fixed an issue in the “An Alarming Development” quest where the alarm clocks would not register as being in the Inventory.
- Fixed an issue in the “Ghost Town” quest where the game could freeze when talking to Scrooge.
- Fixed an issue in the “You Have Mail!” Quest where you could become stuck at the “Water the Mini Boutique in Daisy’s House” step.
- Fixed an issue in the “Trouble in Paradise” quest where you couldn’t give Mochas to Daisy.
- Fixed an issue in “The Great Blizzard” where the quest would not progress due to the Ice Sculpture Flower showing as a broken 2×2 item in the Inventory.
- Fixed an issue in “The Decay of Fashion” quest where you were prompted to gather materials to repair the Bell Tower even after it had already been built.
- Fixed an issue in the “Guts & Glory” quest where Hades doesn’t move on the follow Hades step.
- Fixed an issue in the Lady and the Tramp realm quests where Lady goes back to the alley after following the scent trail to Tramp.
- Fixed an issue in the Lady and the Tramp realm quests where it may be difficult to talk to Lady as she’s locked to a certain position.
- Fixed an issue where some quest item icons were missing from the Beauty and the Beast realm quests.
- Fixed an issue where the screen would flash and you could get stuck while exiting Edit Mode.
- Fixed an issue when using Group Mode on items that contain a sub-grid.
- Fixed an issue with Group Mode where the cursor was offset upon selecting items.
- Fixed an issue where Red Chests were giving expansion items, even if you didn’t own the expansion.
- Fixed an issue where the Pluto Companion would not automatically play their celebration animation near the Pet Playgrounds (Pinwheel, Companion Ball) and Fuzzy Pet Feeder.
- Fixed an issue where some crafted items would incorrectly show up in the Scrooge catalog.
- Fixed an issue where you couldn’t buy Eric’s blueprints due to an error “NoPriceForItem”.
- Fixed an issue where the Track All Duties button had to be held much longer in the Routine Duties section compared to the regular Duties section.
- Fixed an issue in the DreamSnaps menu where the Check submission/Vote Now pop-up triggers, and the dropdown list could close/open at the same time.
- Fixed an issue where the Wrought Iron Streetlamp variants had different grid footprints.
- Fixed an issue where the greenhouse bench could be used under the Stained Glass Greenhouse Frame even if they came from the same set.
- Fixed an issue where your Avatar had no collision with Piano Bench in the Lady and Tramp House.
- Fixed an issue where some objects couldn’t be interacted with while mounted on a horse.
- Fixed an issue where some furniture couldn’t be selected in Group Mode.
- Fixed an issue where it was not possible to group stalls and several buildings together.
- Fixed an issue where if you were playing on PlayStation, you were sometimes experiencing a crash with the CE-34878-0 error code.
- Fixed an out of memory issue that could cause the PlayStation 4 to crash.
- Fixed an issue in the Lady and the Tramp realm where the interaction radius of the table in the alley was too small.
- Fixed an issue where the Arendellian Riding Helmet could make your Avatar bald.
- Fixed an issue where the Green Hideout Rug didn’t match its icon.
- Fixed an issue where the Potted Palm item became invisible.
- Fixed an issue where the Slate Stone Path had no icon in the Uncrafting Station.
- Fixed an issue where the Rainbow Rose Glass Breezeway appeared in the Crafting category of the Collection menu but not in the Crafting menu.
- Fixed an issue in the Collection menu where the shortcut indicators when viewing a photo in the Photo Gallery were stretched.
- Fixed an issue in the Star Path UI where it did not mention that you needed to hold T to Track all Duties.
- Fixed an issue where some of the items from the Alice in Wonderland collection were displayed as locked in the Scrooge Delivery menu.
- Fixed an issue where the text box was too dark when changing the Forgotten’s name.
- Fixed an issue where the Male Avatar’s neck and shoulders were covered in stretched spots when wearing the Giselle Costume.
- Fixed an issue where the Stylish Sailor Pants had visual issues on the Male Avatar.
- Fixed an issue where the Lady Edwardian Ensemble was clipping with all inner Necklaces.
- Fixed an issue when playing on Apple Arcade, where the replay option was available on Touchscreen even though the Quest Puzzle had not yet been completed for the 1st time.

Disney Dreamlight Valley – Ver. ??? (Puppy Love)

NEW CONTENT
There are no base game requirements to kick off the events of Puppy Love, except for having the Dream Castle and base game Royal Tools unlocked.
- Jump into the new Lady and the Tramp Realm, where you’ll explore iconic alleyway locations from the Disney classic Lady and the Tramp, including the famous setting behind Tony’s Restaurant where you’ll recreate the romantic spaghetti dinner.
- Meet the romantic duo, Lady and Tramp, and lend them a paw with the pesky dog catchers. Help orchestrate a daring dog-pound breakout and use a magical snout to reunite the pair.
- You’ll then aid Lady and Tramp traverse a strange spaghetti storm before they finally join your Valley, bringing with them their beautiful Edwardian-inspired house and special friendship quests.
- Progress through Lady and Tramp’s friendship quests to unlock their dashing and delightful friendship rewards.
- You’ll also want to watch out for strange happenings once Lady and Tramp have joined your Valley. There’s a very noodle-y mystery afoot.
- As of Feb 11, beware of Spaghetti Tumbleweed in the Dreamlight Castle.
- As of Feb 18, 3 villagers will be needing some help with giant mounds of Magical Meatballs.
- As of Feb 25, you may notice Magical Marinara Tomatoes appearing in a fishy place…
- Dress to impress with charming looks inspired by Disney classics like Lady and the Tramp and The Great Mouse Detective in the “Paw-fect Romance” Star Path.
- This new Star Path will let you bring the iconic Tony’s Restaurant to the Valley and unlock new Dream Styles for both Mickey and Minnie, plus new floral furnishings to match your adorable Flower Puppy companion!
- From February 11 to February 25, gather items for some of the Valley’s most iconic sweethearts in the all-new Valley Valentines Event and earn exclusive rewards.
- From March 11 to March 17, the Lucky You! Event returns with brand-new rewards.
- Finally, from April 1 to April 21, the Eggstravaganza Event is back, introducing a new way to collect eggs found around the Valley, inside select Realms, and even in the sea along Dazzle Beach!
- Add some flourish to your Dream Castle, Plaza, Chez Remy’s, Scrooge’s Store, Goofy’s Stall, Wishing Well, and Valley Visit Station with the new Deluxe Springtime Valley Bundle, coming to the Premium Shop.
- You can also try out the new evolving Tangled Watering Can, with upgraded cosmetic appearances that can be unlocked by completing tasks, such as watering crops.
- This update includes 2 new Seasonal packs available for a limited time.
IMPROVEMENTS
DECORATING
- Decorating just got a whole lot easier with Group Mode, which allows you to select multiple items and move, rotate, or remove them all at once.
- Rotating grouped items will be possible on a 4-point axis.
DREAMSNAPS
- With the Puppy Love update, DreamSnaps results will be entirely in your hands, with 100% of scoring based on player voting! While tags will still be required to participate, they will no longer force the use of certain items, allowing you to lean into your most creative inspirations.
- In addition, decor and outfit challenges will now be combined, further enabling creative flexibility when composing your DreamSnaps.
- Reward chests will continue with the current system: outfit on week 1, decor on week 2, outfit on week 3, and so on and so forth.
COMPANION AND ITEM PREVIEWS
- As of this update you will be able to preview any Photo Mode pose unlocked with a given companion or item on display in the Premium Shop screen!

- Fixed an issue in the DreamTeams menu where an incorrect “Last Live” time was sometimes used.
- Fixed an issue where the DreamTeams rename cooldown was not described clearly.
- Fixed an issue where the avatar of a DreamTeams member can appear in your valley even outside of multiplayer.
- Fixed an issue where you weren’t able to use the “Offset Time of Day” slider on your gamepad.
- Fixed an issue where Copper rocks could appear in your main Valley.
- Fixed some spots that were incorrectly diggable on Eternity Isle.
- Fixed an issue where some Avatar’s feet disappeared when wearing the Festive Holiday Dress.
- Fixed an issue where Remy would be stuck between the stools in his house.
- Fixed an issue where it was sometimes not possible to hang out with Villagers, like Goofy and Snow White.
- Fixed an issue where the path for moveable carts could be removed, causing the cart to be moveable in all directions.
- Fixed an issue where some wall items would appear partially inside the wall.
- Fixed an issue where your Avatar’s legs could become corrupted when wearing the Ruffled Stage Shoes.
- Fixed an issue where your Avatar’s wrists could become corrupted when wearing the Candy Corn Manicure.

To download the updates for Disney Dreamlight Valley, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
