Moorhuhn Knights & Castles (Switch) releasing next week in North America and Europe

Remember the Crazy Chicken series on Nintendo 3DS? Well, it’s back on Nintendo Switch, with Moorhuhn Knights & Castles, releasing next week in Europe (on January 8th) and North America (on January 11th). If you really cannot wait for it, then you can get it from the Nintendo eShop in Japan (yes, it does have an English language option!).

The game features an extensive 36-part campaign, with various challenge battles to tackle in order to stop the evil Clan Chief. Those take place in various environments: Scottish Highlands, icy landscapes, lava-spewing volcanoes, and more… Interesting details: you can play the campaign battles as often as you wish!

But going into battle isn’t all the game is about: you also have to build yourself a mighty and prestigious fortress, and continually upgrade it with better weapons and defense facilities. You start with a small shack, and you quickly expand it so that it becomes a castle worthy of the greatest of leaders… you!

At launch, the game will only be playable in Single Player, but in Spring, a free update will add a couple of multiplayer options:

• Looting: attack and steal from players all around the world;
• Live Multiplayer: fast and action-packed duels against other players. You fight for two things: gold, and crowns. Crowns are the multiplayer rewards, and if you want to climb up the leaderboards (weekly and all-time), you will need to collect as many as possible. You need to share a password in order to play with other players.

Moorhuhn Knights & Castles will be released on January 8th in Europe, and on January 11th in North America, and will cost $29.99 / 29.99€. It will require 154MB of free space, and will offer the following language options: English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian.
