VOEZ (Switch) also releasing on March 3rd in Europe

Last week, we found out about VOEZ: a rhythm game originally released on smart devices (iOS and Android), that will be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch in Japan. You can find more details about the game, but also some screenshots and even a teaser trailer, in this post.

An interesting thing about the Japanese version of the game is that it already features English language (no surprise since the smart device game is already available in English). Basically, it means you can simply switch the region of your Nintendo Accout to Japan, download the game on your European or North American console, and play it in English.

But it turns out you will not have to do that at all, even if you’re really impatient… at least, if you live in Europe. Circle Ent. announced today that VOEZ would be one of the games available at launch on the Nintendo eShop in Europe. The game will cost 20.99€, which means the price for North America will most likely be $20.99.

Interesting detail: it’s Flyhigh Works, the Japanese publisher, that’s publishing the game in Europe (and North America). This is most definitely due to the fact the game has already been localised in English. However, there’s no doubt Circle Ent. is assisting with that western release of the game.

VOEZ (Switch – eShop) comes out on March 3rd in Europe and Japan, and later this year in North America (but there’s no doubt the North American release will follow shortly after Europe and Japan, if not on the same day). The Upcoming Releases page and the Nintendo Switch launch page have both been updated!
