UK: video games sales for Week 53, 2015 (Dec. 28 – Jan. 2)

In Week 53, we have both the last days of 2015 and the first ones of 2016. And unfortunately for Nintendo, that means the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS both ended 2015 and started 2016 in the worst way possible. Indeed, there isn’t a single game for those platforms in the Top 40, as Just Dance sales dropped like a rock once Christmas was over.

The best-seller on Nintendo 3DS is still Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, and Splatoon is back as the best-selling title on Wii U.
