Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Nintendo Switch): list of confirmed characters and series representation

During the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, on March 8th 2018, Nintendo announced that the Super Smash Bros. series was headed to the Nintendo Switch later this year. It’s not clear yet whether this is a brand new entry or an enhanced port, but the very first characters have already been revealed.

Therefore, we’ve created this page in order to keep track of all the characters revealed for the game, with links to the relevant news posts for additional details about each one. We will keep updating it regularly, as new fighters are confirmed, up until the game’s release. Should there be any additional content, we will make sure to list any DLC character as soon as they’re announced.
