- Added Survival: Endless Day, Night, Fog, Roof, and Cloudy Day levels.
- These Endless levels each have their own save slots, with existing Survival: Endless saves carried over to Survival: Endless (Pool).
Gameplay Fixes:
- Fixed crash most commonly seen in long Survival: Endless games
- Fixed cases where explosive plants (Cherry Bomb, Jalapeno, etc.) could get stuck in levels after using them
- Fixed loading issue caused by interrupting the flow around Dave’s Taco after level 4-4 (The Magic Taco needed some attunement to account for speedsters)
- Fixed issues with P2 planting cards in Vasebreaker levels
- Fixed being able to use the Wheelbarrow to bring seedlings into the Aquarium
- Fixed Zombies Plant Daisies visual toggle not properly retaining its state after exiting levels
- Fixed issue with menus getting stuck when controller disconnects happened with the I, Zombie game over message on screen.
Audio / Visual Fixes:
- Fixed Seed Select menu music starting a few seconds into the track (The record had some dust. It’s cleaned now, so no more skipping!)
- Fixed Conveyor plant preview blackouts (Dr.Z was up to no good once again)
- Muted ingame sfx during the title scene when starting a new Adventure run
- Fixed issues with Zombies appearing in the Seed Select Preview view with visual toggles enabled
- Fixed Aquarium planting slot shadows not being visible when using the Glove or Wheelbarrow
- Fixed Zombotany head appearance issues
- Fixed Cherry Bomb growing animation stopping early
- Made sure Dr. Zomboss’s arm is properly attached when he throws the RV at the bottom row (Dr. Z is re-armed and dangerous!)

New Features:
- Added Accessibility Features that can be toggled on via the Main Menu Options Menu:
- High Contrast Mode (high contrast visuals during gameplay to accommodate visual accessibility needs)
- Slow Speed (changes 1x speed to 0.5x game speed and reduces the faster speeds accordingly)
- Disable Screenshake (removes shaking effect on explosions and other areas)
- Added Sun Vacuum / Magnet function to the game
- Pressing Right Trigger/R2/ZR on Controllers or Spacebar on Keyboard activates the sun vacuum function, collecting all individual suns present in the level when activated. (Now you can spend more time on strategizing & execution instead of staring at the suns. Which we’ve heard isn’t good for your eyes)

- Added ability to open the Almanac from the Pause Menu
- Fixed Main Menu button not appearing on Reward Screen
- Optimizations made for Zombie memory management to improve performance on lower end devices, particularly in Survival Endless.
- Fixed Sol Invictus achievement not being awarded at exactly 2000 sun
- Fixed Gold Sunflower trophy not showing on the Main Menu for players who already had Nobel Peas Prize unlocked before an earlier fix for this issue
- Fixed issues with Life Well Lived achievement unlock conditions incorrectly tracking used lawnmowers
- Fixed Co-op Streak Counter and Trophy unlocks not showing correctly
- Vasebreaker and I, Zombie Minigames now have separate save slots
- Fixed Fog covering the Zombie preview during Seed Selection on Survival levels (We don’t like surprises on this lawn)
- Fixes for Endless modes not showing streak counter/flags completed properly
- Fixed Polevaulters being a little too effective at getting past lawnmowers in rare cases (Took a while, but we’ve shortened all the poles we could find)
- Fixed Mallet becoming unusable in certain situations during Vasebreaker levels
- Fixes for reported issues with Cob Cannon causing freezes in levels
- Fixes for various issues with Garden Tools and Zen Garden navigation
- Fixes for issues with plant selection and timer resets
- Zomboni now properly spawns Bobsled Team in Vs Mode.

- Reduced volume of the RIP Mode guitar riff (Dr. Z has been issued a sound complaint by the neighborhood watch)
- Fixed various audio and visual issues with the Almanac including Zombie Sprite Sheet using incorrect placeholder assets
- Fix for Plant/Zombie placement previews not being faded out when you can’t afford to place them
- Marigolds now show their whole range of colours
- Fixed Dave forgetting to show you various items when he’s talking about them (Dave got too excited, but he’s got enough practice now)
- Fixed Dave wandering a bit too far off-screen in certain aspect ratios (We’ve marked his spot with tape so he knows where to stand now)

- Added Dynamic Audio to the level music so it no longer always plays at the highest intensity version (perfect time for a blindfolded run)
- Minigame, Puzzle, Survival and Almanac menus now play the correct music instead of the previous menu’s music
- Sound effects no longer overlap menu music at higher game speeds
- Added missing menu open SFX for Pause Menu
- Collecting Sun has a wider range of audio played

- Fixed Twin Sunflowers faces being too small, they should now fit their petals.
- Fixed Zomboss’s eyes to be the correct color relative to his attack.
- Fixed Split Pea so that they fire with both eyes open.
- Fixed BrownCoat Zombie’s retro skin so that arms fall off properly.
- Fixed Pumpkin to now show the damaged state appropriately.
- Fixed Dr Zomboss to now have a Health Bar (Nice try Dr Z).

- Sun and Brains no longer block placement in areas around them.
Gameplay:
- You can now interact with the seed selector to cancel placement instead of needing to click off of the seed selector first.
- Extra lawnmowers will no longer spawn in Vasebreaker.
- Ice Trap positioning has been corrected for both Bungie Zombie and Gargantuar.
- In Co-Op both players can no longer select the same seed packet at the same time
Audio:
- Turbo Speed will no longer speed up the OST.
- Shop now plays the correct music regardless of player origination.
- Pausing the game now correctly pauses the Audio.
- Invalid placement warning in Versus mode now plays the proper sound effect.
- Doomshroom & Jalapeno now use the correct sound when destroying tombstones.
Miscellaneous:
- Several fixes to various assets when in High Contrast Mode
- Several UI fixes related to missing or misplaced assets
- Several bugs squashed related to UX due to resolution/control scheme adjustments.

- Fixed an image resolution on the “You got a new plant!” screens
- Fixed Retro Zombie’s detached parts to no longer appear blurry.
- Fixed various issues with hover and click state appearances.
- Fixed Tree Food not appearing when Crazy Dave introduces the Tree of Wisdom. Just don’t ask us how a Tree…eats.
- Fixed an issue with Digger Zombie effect layering in Fog layers.
- Fixed an issue where Plant Pots had faces when they really shouldn’t.
- Fixed Cob Cannon to no longer appear visually once removed with a shovel in certain situations. Get outta here Corn!
- Fixed various animation cycling issues.
Vs Mode:
- Fixed an issue that prevented plants from being used when held by Player one while Player two places a zombie.
Gameplay:
- Crazy Dave no longer preselects Peashooter every time in Adventure+
- Fixed an issue that prevented plants from being used when held while activating Cob Cannon with certain input types.
- D-Pad directional input is now continuous instead of requiring individual presses.
Audio:
- Peashooter sounds will now fire the proper amount in battle.
Miscellaneous:
- Fixed various minor text string issues.
- Cursor no longer hides when attempting to scroll the Cheats menu before unlocking all options.
- You can no longer accidentally access other screens while in the Almanac
- Removed Imitater from the Zombie Almanac. Sneaky, sneaky.
- The Wake Stinky the Snail banner no longer causes input issues

How to download updates for Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2?
To download the updates for Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
