No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES, the latest entry in the AI: The Somnium Files, features three main parts: Escape parts (featuring escape game-style gameplay, inspired by the Zero Escape series), Investigations parts, and Somnium parts.

Today, we get a look at the Somnium parts with a brand new video:

During Somnium parts, you use a PSYNC machine to deep dive into the dreams of key witnesses and investigate in order to unearth the truth. In those dreams, you get to control Aiba, who appears under the guise of a young woman. She’s directly connected to Date, and investigates on his behalf.

Somnium parts have a time limit: you can only stay in a dream for 6 minutes at a time. You have to make the most of that time to delve into the witness subconscious and overcome various obstacles in order to find clues.

No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES (Switch, Switch 2) comes out on July 25th worldwide.
