Nintendo Live 2025 Tokyo announced for October 4th and 5th; Mario Kart World Invitational 2025 to take place there

Last year, the latest Nintendo Live event was supposed to take place in January, but it was ultimately cancelled due to threats. But this year, Nintendo’s very own live event is returning to Japan with Nintendo Live 2025 Tokyo.

This new event will take place on October 4th and October 5th at Tokyo Big Sight (Halls 1 and 2). It will offer various events and activities, such as demo stands with playable Nintendo Switch 2 games, tournaments (like the Mario Kart World Invitiational 2025, or the Mario Kart World parent-child competition), and other stage events.

However, Nintendo has announced that this time around, there will not be any live music performances.

Just like with previous similar events, fans who want to attend will need to get a ticket, and the various tournaments will also require registration ahead of the main event. The schedule is as follows:

  • Mario Kart World parent-child competition: applications to kick off in July
  • General admissions: applications to kick off in August

Further details about the event will be shared at a later date.
