Nintendo announces 2025 holidays offers and events (Black Friday, Cyber Monday)
Earlier this week, Nintendo announced their offers for the 2025 holiday season (Black Friday, Cyber Monday) in the United States. Unsurprisingly, they focus (almost) exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, at least as far as discounts are concerned.
First up: digital sales. The Cyber Deals sale will run from November 20th to December 3rd, and will feature discount on select games.
Next up: physical game discounts. Starting November 23rd, select retailers (including the official Nintendo stores) will offer discount on select Nintendo Switch games:
$39.99 MSRP
- Princess Peach: Showtime!
- The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
- Donkey Kong Country Returns HD
- Luigi’s Mansion 3
- Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe
$29.99 MSRP
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Nintendo Switch Sports
- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
- Splatoon 3
And good news for amiibo fans: there will also be some discounts at select retailers:
$10 off
- The Legend of Zelda Series: Tulin, Yunobo, Riju and Sidon
- STREET FIGHTER 6: Jamie, Kimberly and Luke
- STREET FIGHTER 6 – amiibo Card Starter Set
The two official Nintendo Stores in the US, Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK are joining the fun with holiday-themed events starting mid-November:
- festive décor
- gift-with-purchase offers (while supplies last)
- an all-new, exclusive Winter Collection featuring cozy attire, accessories, and more
And that’s not all! Starting November 30th, you can get $20 off Samsung MicroSD Express Cards at those two stores.
Unfortunately, there won’t be any discounts on Nintendo Switch 2 games or consoles. However, there will be some events at select retailers:
- On Nov. 15 and Dec. 13, participating Best Buy locations will host demos of Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza and more.
- On Dec. 6, local GameStop locations will host demos of Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, Kirby Air Riders, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond and more.
- Plus, hop aboard the GameTruck + Walmart Holiday Tour to play Mario Kart World with GameTruck at select Walmart locations on weekends starting Nov. 15 – Dec. 13 from 10 am – 5 pm local time. For a list of participating stores and event dates, visit the official Walmart site.
Finally, ahead of the holidays, Nintendo has launched its Nintendo Holiday Gift Guide. There’s also a Wish List tool for kids, who can create a list of games, consoles, and accessories they want. Said Wish List can then be saved and printed!
