- Fixed the issue where attacking while moving backward after taking damage would cause further backward movement, and adjusted it to move forward instead.

Nintendo Switch version
- Reduced the time it takes for other players’ names to be displayed in the private room.
- Fixed a bug where textures would sometimes become blurry when transitioning from the title screen to the home screen.
- Fixed an issue where an error would occur after moving to the Nintendo Switch home screen during gameplay and then returning to the game after a while, so that no error occurs and it transitions to the title screen instead.
- Known issues:
- Rides may be hidden while racing.
- Sometimes you may be able to start tours while the help screen is still displayed.
- Challenges sometimes don’t switch properly and get marked as completed.
- The camera may sometimes switch to an unintended position (such as a first-person perspective).
- After leaving a party or private room, you may not be able to rejoin the party or room.
- Attack success animation of other players sometimes played a version different from their equipped items.
- There are instances where no players are displayed on the race result screen.
- Manta rays sometimes aren’t displayed in Sky High’s “Massive School of Manta Rays” and “Sky Stroll”.
- Attacks are sometimes successful on retracted seals.
- An error may occur when transitioning to an activity.
- While waiting during the matching process, players sometimes get transitioned to the results screen.
- The effect of the “Secret Scroll of Ninja Techniques” may remain visible in the course results or the next race (it has no effect).
- The effect of the “Secret Scroll of Ninja Techniques” obtained on a floating island may be visible to other players in the first activity (it has no effect).
- If another player picks up the “Water Scroll” from a distance, they may not appear to be under its effect when approached.

This update fixes the following issues:
- When a Nintendo Switch / Xbox Series X|S player attacks another player, the damage may not be applied.
- When a Nintendo Switch / Xbox Series X|S player attacks the following gimmicks, they may not function properly:
- Bomb Seal: The explosion probability is not calculated correctly. (This does not significantly affect gameplay balance.)
- Seal Punching Bag: Its position is not affected when attacked.
- Dancing Bear / Spinning Seal: They continue to move instead of stopping upon being attacked.
- Balloon: It appears to have popped for the attacker, but in reality, it remains intact. (The attack itself is successful.)

- In the rule settings screen, the host can now be set to start in the dropped out state.
- In the rule settings screen, you can now set whether survivors can see dropped out players (ghosts) or not.

The 6th world, [Sands of Egypt Night Paaarty] has been added! From climbing ledges, falling into antlion pits, exploring labyrinths in pyramids, to sliding down the vast sea of sand… Enjoy four totally different courses at night! A new gimmick called Sand Splash has been added that makes you bounce when you go over it while it’s glowing.
Lag issues during slow network speeds were improved.
We have made adjustments to decrease the frequency of position corrections for your character when the server connection is slow (high ping) during races.

- “Auto (Prioritize Connection Speed)” has been added to the server selection (Ver 1.0.5)
- The “Auto (Prioritize Connection Speed)” option has been added to the server settings. This option prioritizes matching based on connection speed by excluding slower servers, while considering the matchmaking rate and wait times. We recommend using this option for general play, but for more detailed control, you can select from other server options.
- This brings the server settings to a total of six options: “Auto (Prioritize Connection Speed)”, “Auto (Prioritize Matchmaking)”, “Asia”, “West America”, “East America”, and “Europe”.
- Additionally, the server selection screen has been moved to the home screen.
- Fixed the bug where the color variations for the skins “Witch’s Dress” and “Sugar Fiend Ghost” would not change.

How to download updates for Faaast Penguin for the Nintendo Switch?
To download the updates for Faaast Penguin, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
