Addressed the following issue:

When selecting a Player Item that did not meet the requirements of the Filter Evolutions By Player option, parts of the UI could have become unresponsive.

The Grounds

Addressed the following issues:

Players were unable to perform 5 Star Skill Moves during Street Football matches in The Grounds, even if their Avatar had the appropriate skill level unlocked and equipped.
Sometimes, players were not able to join the match using the Hot Join functionality.
Sometimes, players would have unexpectedly high ping in League Matches.

Gameplay

Made the following changes:

In Authentic Gameplay only (available in Career Mode and Kick Off) Jockey and Sprint Jockey Speed default slider values have moderately been increased. This change does not impact Competitive Gameplay.
In The Grounds 11v11 matches, increased the impact of fatigue on long-term player stamina.

Addressed the following issues:

Sometimes, players using a custom controller preset were unable to perform their intended inputs.

General, Audio, and Visual

Addressed the following issues:

Addressed various stability issues that could have occurred.
[Switch Only] In some cases, players may be unable to use DLC commentary audio languages even if they are already installed on the system.

How to download updates for EA SPORTS FC 27 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2?

To download the updates for EA SPORTS FC 27, you have three options:

let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
