The Legend of Zelda live-action movie: Zelda to be played by Bo Bragason, and Link by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth
Just last month, Nintendo announced that the release date of the Legend of Zelda live-action movie had been moved to May 7th (officially due to production reasons). And today, Shigeru Miyamoto himself took to Twitter to reveal the name of the actors who will play two of the key characters: Zelda and Link.
Bo Bragason (Renegade Nell, The Jetty) is the one who will play Princess Zelda in the movie. As for Link, it’s Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (The Haunting of Bly Manor, Pinocchio (2022), who has been selected to bring him to life on the big screen.

This is Miyamoto. I am pleased to announce that for the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda, Zelda will be played by Bo Bragason-san, and Link by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth-san. I am very much looking forward to seeing both of them on the big screen. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 7, 2027. Thank you for your patience.
