Xenoblade Chronicles X: Japanese overview video

Xenoblade Chronicles X comes out in exactly two weeks in Japan (on April 29th), which means it’s high time for the usual overview video Nintendo uploads for pretty much all its major games. And as we can expect, the video starts by showing a bit of the story, and more precisely the beginning where humanity is forced to flee Earth aboard giant spaceships, ending up on Planet Mira.

Then, it showcases some of the features of the game, including Skip Travel (where you can “teleport” from an area to other, via the map on the GamePad), the Navigation Ball (to find your way around to your next mission objective), or the Hopper Camera (to see your surroundings). Of course, the battle system is also showcased with auto-attacks, the use of Arts, Overclock Gear, and more.

Several other features are also shown in the video, such as equipment, the Arms Companies (who can develop more efficient products if you keep using/buying theirs), and of course the Dolls: those giant mechs you can use to explore Planet Mira and fight monsters in. They had theirown live presentation last week. Finally, the overview video does mention the quests, as well as the Network Mode.
