UK: video games sales for Week 10, 2016 (March 7 – 12)
Week 10 saw fewer releases in the United Kingdom, but The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD still lost 9 places in a week: it went straight from #1 to #10. This is not too surprising for a Wii U game, which does not have a big enough userbase to sustain good sales on a long period of time (with the exception of multiplayer games such as Splatoon or Mario Kart 8).
As for Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, it’s on its way to the “exit” after losing 15 places at once this week. It’s surrounded by two other Pokémon games: Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, which are #35 and #37 respectively. They made their comeback in the Top 40 last week, but managed to hold this week. Unfortunately, it looks like they won’t last much longer…
On Nintendo 3DS, Pokémon Omega Ruby is the new best-seller, while on Wii U, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is (naturally) #1 of sales.
