Issue Resolved

We have addressed the following issue that occurred in Villain Event Lamenting a Millennium:

  • When exchanging Hop & Zamazenta’s Legendary Spirit for Event Vouchers S in the Exchange Items menu, they expired and were converted into coins.

  • Adjusted the contents of the tutorials for Chapter 1: Public Nuisance and Challenge Rosa: Part 1 in the PML Arc of the Main Story.
  • You can now check the original titles of songs that have been added to the Jukebox.
  • You can now see the details of expired limited-time items that were auto-exchanged by going to the Pokémon Center.
  • Changed the contents of the tips that are displayed when updating the app.
  • You can now check ongoing Sync Pair Scouts as a list by going to Ticket Scout or Sync Pair Scout.
  • A Sync Pair’s remaining HP can now be displayed as a percentage on their HP bar during battle.
    • Note: You can adjust the setting by going to HUD under Settings in the Poryphone Menu.
  • New songs will be added to the Jukebox.
    • Note: You can exchange for newly added songs in the Unlock Songs menu of the Jukebox or the Exchange Items menu in the Shop.
  • Fixed an issue in which an acquisition requirement for Titles was different than intended.

About the Profile Feature Renewal
  • The Profile feature has been updated significantly. Your Profile can now include photos from the newly added Photo feature, Titles, and more. You can also send a Like to another player’s Profile.
  • You will receive a notification in the Pokémon Center when you receive a Like or meet the requirements for acquiring a Title.
About the Lucky Skill Stock Feature
  • The Lucky Skills you learn for each Sync Pair can now be saved as Stock, allowing you to switch them out at any time.
Unlocking the Energy Cap for a Sync Grid
  • Sync Pairs’ Energy caps can now be unlocked based on their move level.
  • You can use Co-op Sync Orbs to unlock the Energy cap.
Lucky Skill Area Added to the Training Area
  • An area where you can acquire Lucky Scrolls and Lucky Cookies will be added to the Training Area.
Trainer Lodge
  • You will be able to invite Skyla to the Trainer Lodge.
    • Note: You can invite Skyla once you have teamed up with 3★ Skyla & Swanna.
  • Changed the background of the Trainer Lodge.

  • The total Option points will now be displayed on the Options confirmation screen of the Check Successful Teams section in the Champion Stadium’s Master Mode.
  • Added a Filter button to the Sync Pair Story list screen.
  • New songs will be added to the Jukebox.

  • After the update, you will start from Hall 1.
  • After the update, a reset button will be added so you can reset the Halls and retry the battles at any time.
  • Even if you use the reset feature, your first-time rewards progress will not be reset.
  • After the update, the Hall skip feature will no longer be available.

  • You will be able to invite Wally to the Trainer Lodge from the following date/time:

About the New EX Role Feature

A new EX Role tab has been added to the Sync Pair upgrade options.

By unlocking an EX Role, in addition to the Sync Pair gaining stat boosts, additional effects based on the Sync Pair’s EX Role will be added to their Sync Move when raised to 6★ EX.

We plan to release additional Sync Pairs that can unlock an EX Role in the future.

    • In conjunction with this update, you will be able to earn daily tickets that can be exchanged for various items.

  • A new difficulty level will be added to the Daily Region Rotation.
    • Note: In the new difficulty level, you can earn Roll Cake Coins that can be exchanged for the Roll Cakes which is used to unlock a Sync Pair’s EX Role.
    • Note: We have also changed the display of the end date/time from a regional transition one to a daily one.
    • Note: To exchange for Roll Cakes, go to the Exchange Items menu in the Shop screen, then look for the General tab.

About the change of the Japanese voice actor for Tate
  • The Japanese voice actor for Tate, Ami Naga, has retired from voice acting, so the character of Tate will be voiced by the following voice actor going forward.

  • The credits will be changed in a future update.
  • Due to the change in voice actors, we have also changed voice lines that are currently in the game.

About the Skip Ticket Quantity Selection Button
  • You can now set the maximum and minimum number of Skip Tickets that you wish to use with a single tap on the area info’s battle start screen.
  • It is now possible to use up to 50 Skip Tickets at once.

  • Made improvements to the display of your gems and other areas of the prompt that appears when gems are used.
  • Changed the display of the Shop screen and the Gems purchase flow for iOS devices that have enabled in-app purchase restrictions within the Screen Time settings.

Addition of the Restart Battle Feature

Switching out a Sync Pair will remove all of its Type Rebuffs.

Champion Stadium
  • You can now check the types of pieces you have obtained for the Champion Stadium (Hard Lv. 1) Medal on the battle prep screen.
  • If you complete the battle, the pieces you would obtain by entering the Hall of Fame are marked as “In progress,” and you will receive them once you have entered the Hall of Fame.
  • Note: If you are unable to enter the Hall of Fame within the week, the “In progress,” marks disappear.
  • Note: You can view the medal pieces you have obtained by tapping the Pieces button on the battle prep screen and checking the Medals prompt that appears.
  • Note: You will not be able to check completion progress for Medals of any regions where you have already completed the Champion Stadium Medal by filling in all 18 types of pieces.
Improvements to Battles
  • Expanded the kinds of battles that will display a confirmation prompt when quitting the battle upon defeat. By selecting Battle Again following your defeat in an eligible battle, you can retry the battle from the beginning with the same team. Selecting Back will confirm your defeat.

    • The Sync Pair Filter has been updated. This allows for more detailed filtering by Move Target in the Known Moves section, so we hope you make use of it when editing your team.
  • Behavior of the Story Skip Function
    • For some areas, using the Skip button while playing will skip to the end of the story. This updated function will apply to stories to be added in the future (excluding some areas with special formats).

Egg Hatching Requirements
  • The hatch gauge has been removed and you will no longer need to win battles to hatch your Eggs.

Updates to the Explore Menu
  • Courses and supercourses found in the training area will be removed.
  • To coincide with the removal of courses and supercourses, the current training area will be renamed the EX Plaza, and a brand-new training area will be added as a place where items for training can be obtained. Items used to unlock level caps as well as sync orbs can be obtained through battles in the new training area.
  • A stamina function will be introduced as a trial. Some battles will require stamina to play, but there will also be battles that do not require stamina.
    Note: Based on feedback from players, we are taking a flexible approach to the stamina function, including the possibility of removing it. We would appreciate any additional feedback you can provide after playing this new update.
  • To coincide with the addition of stamina, various in-game rewards will be adjusted.
  • Skip tickets will be introduced. Using a skip ticket before some battles where you have met the requirements will allow you to skip the battle and obtain the rewards immediately.
  • Player rank will be introduced. Your player rank increases as you use stamina, and your maximum stamina will increase according to your player rank.
  • The limit of one Super Hard difficulty battle per week in Main Story (co-op) will be removed.

Updates to Sync Pairs
  • Type skills will be introduced. Type skills are new skills that all sync pairs will have. They are activated when you have two or more sync pairs on your team that share the same sync move type.
  • Moves and skills will no longer have to be learned. Instead, all sync pairs will know all of their moves and passive skills from the beginning.
  • The level cap unlocking feature up to the third tier will be removed. The level caps of all sync pairs will be adjusted to coincide with this change. The initial level cap of all sync pairs will be 100, regardless of their number of ★s.
  • The number of items required to unlock the level caps of some sync pairs will be reduced.
Updates to Items
  • Some items, such as the Buff Blend and the Training Machine, will become redundant following the changes.
  • Some of the redundant items can be exchanged for other items in the Exchange Items menu.

To download updates for Pokémon Masters, you have two options:

  • tap on the notification that should appear on your phone;
