Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy announced; details and footage
It’s time to brush up your Dandori skills: Pikmin 4 is getting a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition! Called Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy, it will launch on November 12th worldwide. Players who already own the Nintendo Switch version will be able to buy an Upgrade Pack on the Nintendo eShop (make sure you download the latest update beforehand).
This Nintendo Switch 2 Edition doesn’t just provide the usual graphics and performance improvements, alongside new features (like support for the Nintendo Switch 2 mic). It also comes with new content: the “Dandori Academy”. It’s a brand new mode where your Dandori skills will be put to the test… quite literally!

You can now give voice commands to Oatchi using the built-in microphone on Nintendo Switch 2.
Plus, a new mode is blooming: Dandori Academy. Take on challenges and test how quickly you can collect treasure within the stage.
Test your Dandori skills and once you’re ready, aim for a high score! Earn medals based on how well you do and see the scores of your friends and players around the world.
72 Dandori Academy stages will be released over time.
