Level-5 Vision 2016 confirmed, Akihiro Hino teases new Inazuma Eleven game

Level-5_logoIn the past, Level-5 has hosted several Level-5 Vision events: press conferences during which the latest projects of the company are revealed. There was one in 2013, and the latest one was in 2015. One would think there would automatically be one in 2016, but since there wasn’t one in 2014, it wasn’t guaranteed.

Today, Akihiro Hino (CEO of Level-5) confirmed that there would be a Level-5 Vision 2016 conference this year. However, we don’t know when it will take place, since it hasn’t been officially announced yet (it’s most likely a matter of days until we know). In a tweet, he explained that the company is working on various games and animes, and that he hopes that many people will come.

But that’s not all, he also teased a new game for the Inazuma Eleven series:

Of course, we will also show that game. I… (oops, it’s too early to talk about that)

The interesting bit is the ‘I…’ (イ in Japanese, not the pronoun), which could stand for the first letter of Inazuma Eleven (イナズマイレブン). Of course, nothing is confirmed just yet, but back in December, Akihiro Hino explained that the new entry in a popular series would be revealed this year. Inazuma Eleven certainly fits the bill…

Hopefully, we shouldn’t have too long to wait before getting a confirmation (or not).
