Disney Infinity: sales slowing down; trailer for the Toy Box in 3.0
Disney Infinity sales
Last week, Disney reported earnings for its latest quarter (April – June), and there’s some pretty bad news for the Interactive division. Indeed, both the revenue and the operating income is down Year on Year:
– revenue: from $208 million to $58 million
– operating income: $29 million in 2015
According to Disney, those poor results are primarily due to weak Disney Infinity and catalog sales. And if it weren’t for the continued success of Disney Tsum Tsum (on mobile platforms), Disney Interactive’s results would have been significantly worse. Will Disney Intinity 3.0 be able to reverse the trend?

Toy Box 3.0
Yesterday, Disney Interactive uploaded a new trailer for Disney Infinity 3.0, showcasing the new features of the Toy Box in Disney Infinity 3.0. It starts by showing the new hub area, from where you can uncover 6 gameplay zones (main street, platforming, racing, interiors and more). One of the new features is farming: you can ask townspeople to help you grow vegetables, and then use those to feed them (which increases their stats and more).
