Pokémon Home

Thanks to reports from various Japanese outlets, we have some additional details about Pokémon Home.

If you have a Premium sub, you can have up to 200 boxes to store your Pokémon in. Those use the drag and drop system that fans of the series are used to, and offer various search feature and sorting options.

As expected, you cannot transfer eggs into Pokémon Home, and a Pokémon from Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eeevee! will only gain its Ability (as well as other “missing” bits of data) when transferred to Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Pokémon Home features a National Pokémon, which happens to have “sections” for each region. You can choose to either display all Pokémon, or have them listed by region instead.

The mobile version of the app allows you to see 3D models of the various Pokémon, that you can rotate and observe from various angles. On Nintendo Switch, only one copy (and therefore sub) of Pokémon Home is required for all users on the console to use the service

Finally, the GTS has a really handy feature that allows you to see where a Pokémon comes from (Pokémon Bank, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Eevee!, or Pokémon Sword and Shield).

Finally, here’s various screenshots for Pokémon Home:
