Nintendo Selects (North America)
Yesterday, Nintendo of America announced that 3 Nintendo 3DS games will be added to the Nintendo Selects range on February 4th in North America:
- Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D
- Star Fox 64 3D
Those three games will be available for only $19.99, the standard price for Nintendo Selects titles. Of course, their price will also be dropped on the Nintendo eShop, so that players who prefer to buy games digitally are not penalised.

Shuntaro Furukawa interview
In a short interview with Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun (a Japanese newspaper), Shuntaro Furukawa shared a few interesting tidbits. He revealed that the Nintendo Switch is seeings “the fastest software sales so far in Nintendo’s history”, though it’s not clear whether this refers to specific games, or global Software sales (unlikely). He also explained that Software sales started picking up steam in mid-November, which is when Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee was released.
As of this month, the Nintendo Switch is available in available in 60 countries around the world.
To the surprise of no one, Furukawa considers mobile one of the pillars of earnings for the company. He wants to release hits, and across multiple fields.
