Yo-kai Watch: demo available in Australia, anime series airdate, video

Yo-kai WatchA few weeks ago, we learned from the ACB (Australian Classification Board) that a Yo-kai Watch demo was coming soon to the Nintendo eShop. It was released back in October in North America, two weeks before the full game. In Australia, Yo-kai Watch will come out in two weeks (on December 10th), which means that players can now download the demo from the Nintendo eShop!

Of course, the demo is exactly the same as the one released in North America, and will allows players to get a good taste of the game before its release on December 6th. Obviously, the itwill also be released in Europe next year, but we don’t know when as we don’t even have a proper release date for the game.

And talking of Australia, the Yo-kai Watch anime series will debut on December 14th, on the GO! channel.

Finally, here’s a video from the official Yo-kai Watch channel on YouTube. It’s part 2 of their “What are Yo-kai Tribes” series, which explains all there is to know about the various Yo-kai tribes.

Here’s the tribes introduced in this second part:

  • Heartful – these kind, full-hearted Yo-kai are infused with generous healing abilities.
  • Eerie – an odd, creepy-looking tribe, they are masters of inflicting status ailments.
  • Shady – these dark-hearted Yo-kai often bring out the worst behavior in nearby humans.
  • Slippery – these independent, free-thinking spirits have slimy, snakelike features. It’s hard to grab these guys!
