Yo-kai Sangokushi to be released on April 2nd in Japan, commercial

Following its announcement, in April 2015, Level-5 didn’t say anything about Yo-kai Sangokushi for months. We did get some news back in December, but nothing concrete. We had to wait until the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine (now available in Japan) before getting some proper details about the game itself: click here to check them out!

But there’s something that wasn’t mentioned in the magazine itself: the release date. It seems the magazine kept this scoop for its YouTube channel, as that very date was revealed in a video uploaded earlier this morning: it’s April 2nd! As we expected, Level-5 is planning to take advantage of the Golden Week (series of public holidays in Japan, and a great period for video game sales).

In the video uploaded by CoroCoro magazine, we also get to see a commercial for the game. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show any gameplay footage at all. The only relevant bits are the release date, and the fact the game features over 400 different Yo-kai.

Yo-kai Sangokushi (3DS) comes out on April 2nd in Japan. It will cost 4 968 Yen.
