Yooka-Laylee

We already knew that Yooka-Laylee was coming to the Nintendo Switch, but during today’s Nintendo Switch Nindie Showcase, Team17 re-confirmed that Playtonic Games’ 3D platformer was indeed coming to Nintendo’s new console.

Here’s a trailer for this version of the game:

Yooka-Laylee (Switch – eShop) will be released “soon”.

Overcooked: Special Edition

Overcooked is a game where you go on a journey through various “cruel” and unusual kitchen, in your quest to become a master chef. Your goal is to become “capable of conquering an ancient edible evil that plagues the land”, no less!

The game can be played in Single Player, but also in some extremely chaotic couch co-op with up to 4 players. If you don’t like cooperating with people, no problem: there’s also some competitive challenge modes.

Now, you might be wondering what’s so special about Overcooked: Special Edition on Nintendo Switch. And the answer is… quite a fair bit. First of all, this version includes all the DLC from the original version of the game. What’s more, the game supports HD rumble, which means that cooking will be a pretty “personal” experience in this version!

The Escapists 2

The Escapists 2 is the sequel to the popular prison escape game, and it can be played with up to 4 players in co-op. Even better: the game supports drop-in/drop-out co-op, which means that your friends will be able to join at any time. The game features new multi-level prisons, with high windows that you can climb down by tying together knotted sheets, but also plenty of new ways to escape.

The Upcoming Releases page and the list of confirmed games for the Nintendo Switch have both been updated!
