Super Mario Odyssey: musical trailer, TV Commercials, “Jump Up, Super Star” download

As the release of Super Mario Odyssey draws near, Nintendo is more than ready to promote the game, which is definitely one of its most important releases this year. Today, a brand new trailer was revealed, and it’s quite different from the others. Indeed, it’s a live-action trailer called “Super Mario Odyssey Musical”, meant to look like an actual commercial.

Speaking of music, if you really like “Jump Up, Super Star”, the main theme of the game (sung by the one and only Pauline, Mayor of New Donk City), you can download a legal version from the official Nintendo website. According to Nintendo, the full version of “Jump Up, Super Star” will be available for download from iTunes on October 20th, at least in Japan. We don’t know if it will also be available from other digital store fronts and streaming services (Google Play, Amazon, Spotify, etc.). And unfortunately, we also don’t know if that song being sold online also means the full soundtrack will be…

While we wait for a possible announcement (and the game itself!), here’s not one, but three TV commercials for the game, from Japan:

Super Mario Odyssey (Switch) comes out on October 27th worldwide.
