Suisse Toy Fair: Nintendo’s line-up, tournaments, Pokémon distributions
Next week, from October 6th to October 9th, the Suisse Toy Fair will take place in Bern. Naturally, Nintendo will have its own booth (Hall 3.0/E1), were the NES Mini and several other upcoming games will be playable. There will also be various activities, including tournaments, Pokémon distributions, and more.
Line-up
Here’s what will be playable on Nintendo’s booth during the Suisse Toy Fair:

- Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past (Nintendo 3DS)

- Metroid Prime: Federation Force (Nintendo 3DS)

Activities
There will be several activities on Nintendo’s booth, starting with a Pokémon disitribution. Every day, serial codes for Shiny Xerneas and Shiny Yveltal (most likely the same ones that have been distributed in various other countries in the past few months), but you will have to be fast: only 50 codes will be distributed each day. Also, the serial codes will have to be used before December 31st in Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire.
As for the other activities, we have:
- photo opportunities with Mario and Luigi
- daily StreetPass meetings
- Nintendo cosplay tournament, on Saturday, October 8th at 1PM (registration deadline: same day at 12PM), with various prizes to win.
Finally, there’s the Swiss Nintendo League tournaments (registration deadline: every day, at 11.30AM):
- Friday: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (2 vs 2)
- Saturday: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (1 vs 1), Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire
- Sunday: Mario Kart 8, Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire
