Star Fox Zero: JP official website open, videos and pics

Star Fox ZeroFollowing the Nintendo Direct, Nintendo opened the official website for Star Fox Zero in Japan on Friday (click here). The full version hasn’t been launched yet, but there’s already a couple of things to check out there right now. First of all, there’s two videos available, and the first one shows gameplay from various missions aboard the Arwing, Landmaster, and the Gyrowing.

The second video shows some gameplay aboard the Arwing, and more precisely how you can tilt the GamePad to aim (which allows you to shoot at a direction different than the one you’re heading to).

The third video is actually from the Nintendo Direct, and shows the various types of vehicles you can control in the game:

  • Arwing: the standard vehicle that fans of the series knows well. You can do the usual barrel-rolls, backlips and summersaults;
  • Walker: a special form of the Arwing, which walks on the ground;
  • Landmaster Tank: a special tank with some mid-air abilities. You can target up to three enemies at once with it;
  • Gravmaster: a special form of the Landmaster, which can fly;
  • Gyrowing: a small flying vehicle you can use for infiltration;
  • Direct-i: a robot you can use to hack into terminals, and more. It uses the two screens;

Star Fox Zero (Wii U) comes out on April 21st in Japan, April 22nd in North America, and April in Europe.
