Splatoon: sheet music book for piano releasing later this month in Japan

Splatoon came out over a year ago, but it remains really popular in Japan. New goodies, accessories, toys, and more are announced pretty much every week (and they seem to be selling pretty well). And since music is one of the most popular aspects of the game, the book announced today by Yamaha Music Media isn’t too surprising.

It’s a sheet music book for piano, which will be released on June 20th in Japan. As the title implies, it will include piano sheet music for piano. There will be sheet music for 7 tracks from the Splatoon original soundtrack:

  • Splattack! (Music by Toru Minegishi, Arrangement by Shinobu Amayake)
  • High-Color Sinker (Music by Shiho Fuji, Arrangement by Shinobu Amayake)
  • Kimi-iro ni Somete (Music by Shiho Fuji, Arrangement by Shinobu Amayake)
  • Seaskape (Music by Toru Minegishi, Arrangement by Shinobu Amayake)
  • Ima Nuraneba (Music by Toru Minegishi / Shiho Fuji, Arrangement by Shinobu Amayake)
  • Maritime Memory (Music by Shiho Fujii, Arrangement by Shinobu Amayake)
  • Shiokara-Bushi (Music by Shiho Fuji, Arrangement by Shinobu Amayake)

Thanks to that book, you will be to learn how to play those tracks on the piano! There will also be the “lyrics” for the Maritime Memory track.

Here’s the cover of the Splatoon sheet music book for piano:

The book will cost 1 200 Yen (+ taxes), and will be available in various stores and on the Yamaha Music Media store. It will also come with a different kinds of sheets, with stickers.

Talking of Splatoon music, don’t forget that the the Splatoon Live in Makuhari -Squid Sisters Live- album (releasing on July 13th in Japan) is now available for pre-order on CDJapan! (Affiliate link).
