Snipperclips – Cut it out, together! revealed for the Nintendo Switch; details, screens, more

Following the Nintendo Switch Presentation, Nintendo revealed Snipperclips – Cut it out, together! for the Nintendo Switch. It’s an action-puzzle game, where you have to cut paper characters into new shapes in order to solve dynamic puzzles, and play activities. Unfortunately, we do not yet have a trailer for this rather intriguing and clever puzzle game, but no doubt we will be getting one pretty soon.

Here’s the main features:

  • Work together with friends to cut paper characters into new shapes and solve puzzles – Communicate and cooperate (or not) and move the paper characters on the screen. Get creative and cut shapes out of each other to interact with the environment, move objects, and solve puzzles
  • Dynamic puzzles full of ever-changing gameplay – Use your imagination to solve puzzles of many different types in fun and interesting ways
  • Two different types of modes – Solve basic and advanced puzzles by yourself or with a friend in the main game. Then, work together as a team and solve up to 4-player dynamic puzzles or compete against each other in activities!

And here’s the usual pictures (screenshots, artworks, and more):

Interesting tidbit: here’s a video for Friendshapes, which seems to be the game that later became Snipperclips! (Thanks Patrick Dane for the heads up!)

Snipperclips – Cut it out, together (Switch) will be released in March, worldwide. The Upcoming Releases page has been updated!
