SEGA 3D Classics Collection 3: Final Stage to feature two bonus games (save data bonuses)

As the title implies, SEGA 3D Classics Collection 3: Final Stage is both the third and final SEGA 3D Classics Collection. It will be released at retail this Thursday in Japan (on December 22nd), and will feature the remaining SEGA 3D Classics titles not found in the first two SEGA 3D Classics Collection.

But just like the first two collections, this one will also feature two bonus games, revealed today by Famitsu magazine. To unlock those two games, players will need to have a save data file from SEGA 3D Classics Collection and SEGA 3D Classics Collection 2:

  • Girl’s Garden (originally released on the SG-1000), for players with a save data file for SEGA 3D Classics Collection. It’s the debut creation of Yuji Naka (Sonic’s creator).
  • Champion Boxing (originally released on Arcade), for players with a save data file for SEGA 3D Classics Collection 2. It’s the debut creation of Yu Suzuki (founder of M2).

  • 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (originally released on SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive)
  • 3D Afterburner II (originally released on Arcade)
  • 3D Streets of Rage 2 (originally released on SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive)
  • 3D Gunstar Heroes (originally released on SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive)
  • 3D Super Hang-on (originally released on Arcade)
  • Turbo Outrun (originally released on Arcade)
  • Thunder Force III (originally released on SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive)
  • Alien Syndrome (originally released on Arcade) [Bonus game]
  • Columns (this is the Game Gear version) [Bonus game]
  • Girl’s Garden (originally released of SG-1000) [Bonus game]
  • Champion Boxing (originally released on Arcade) [Bonus game]

SEGA 3D Classics Collection 3: Final Stage (3DS) will be released on December 22nd in Japan.
