Seasons of Heaven announced for the Nintendo Switch, first pictures

In the past few months, the team at AnyArts Productions has been hard at work on something called Seasons of Heaven. It turns out it’s an Adventure game, that will be released on the Nintendo Switch (it’s announced as an exclusive, though it’s not clear whether it’s a temporary or permanent one).

We already have a few details about this promising indie game, where you play as Yann (a young boy who suffers from the Asperger Syndrome), who is accompanied by Ani (a French bulldog). It looks like you will be able to alternate between the two characters, with different gameplay for each. On the technical side, we learn that Seasons of Heaven runs on Unreal Engine 4.

As for the story proper, it’s based on a book called “Les Saisons du Paradis”, written by Nicolas Augusto. Here’s a synopsis:

Nina and Ana are the children of the leaders of a group of survivors. They learn to live in a brand new world, and every day, they’re reminded that it’s mankind’s arrogance and omnipotence that ended up… destroying its own planet. But what happened right before it all ended?

[This book] tells… and shows the story (among other things) of Yann, who suffers from the Asperger syndrome, his French bulldog Ani, his parents Elise and Tim; James, Sarah and their son Thomas. Nico Augusto will take you to the shadows and Paradise.

More details will be shared next week, via an interview and a trailer. In the mean time, here’s the first pictures for the game:

Seasons of Paradise will be released on the Nintendo Switch. It has been added to our list of confirmed games for the platform.
