SD Gundam G Generation Genesis announced for the Nintendo Switch, out in April in Japan

Many third-party publishers decided to go with a “wait and see” approach to the Nintendo Switch, and were therefore caught totally unprepared when they realised that it wasn’t a Wii U 2 sales-wise. They’re now scrambling to release games on the platform, which is why most of the titles announced are ports. The latest game from Bandai-Namco to be announced for the Nintendo Switch, SD Gundam G Generations Genesis, is one.

First released on PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4, SD Gundam G Generations Genesis is the latest entry in the long-running series of SD Gundam G Generation games. It was originally released in 2016, and it’s now coming to the Nintendo Switch on April 26th. It will cost 6 800 Yen, and will include absolutely every single piece of DLC released for previous platforms.

There will be an early purchase bonus: a download code for Super Gachapon World SD Gundam X, a game originally released on the Super Famicom (SNES) back in 1992. It’s one of the usual early purchase bonus from Bandai-Namco, that frequently give away digital version of some of their retro games. It’s not a Virtual Console release, unfortunately.
