Project X Zone 2: new characters revealed, details about the opening/ending, screens/artworks

As announced on Tuesday, Famitsu magazine is revealing some new characters for Project X Zone 2: Brave New World in its latest issue. Since it’s now available (digital format), Famitsu published an article with details and screenshots/artworks for those very characters, but also the opening movie, the ending song, and more.

First, let’s start with the new characters:

Playable characters

  • Zephyr (voiced by Hiro Shimono), from End of Eternity/Resonance of Fate [Pair Unit]
  • Vashyron (voiced by Ken Narita), from End of Eternity/Resonance of Fate [Pair Unit]
  • Reanbell/Leanne (voiced by Aya Endou), from End of Eternity/Resonance of Fate [Solo Unit]
  • Segata Sanshiro (voiced by Hiroshi Fujioka) [Solo Unit]
  • Captain Commando (voiced by Ryoutarou Okiayu), from Captain Commando [Solo Unit]
  • June Lin Milliam (voiced by Yukari Tamura), from Star Gladiator [Solo Unit]
  • Heihachi Mishima (voiced by Unshou Ishizuka), from Tekken [Solo Unit]

Enemy characters

  • Buletta (voiced by Miyuki Matsushita), from the Darkstalkers series
  • Shadow (voiced by Shou Hayami), from Space Channel 5
  • Zagi (voiced by Akio Suyama), from Tales of Vesperia
  • Azure Kite (voiced by Sayaka Aida), from .hack//G.U.

Finally, we have some details about the opening, which is produced by Graphinica and directed by Yasutoshi Iwasaki. The opening song is “Seika wa Hitotsu no Butai”, and the ending theme “Tsuki Akari no Curtain Call”. They are both interpreted by marina, with music composed by Yuzo Koshiro and lyrics by Souichiro Morizumi from Monolith Software.

Project X Zone 2: Brave New World (3DS) comes out on November 12th in Japan, and in early 2016 in Europe and North America.
