Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World: second trailer showcases the new features

Back in September, during the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World is the Nintendo 3DS version of Yoshi’s Woolly World, released last year on Wii U. It features all the content from the original, but also some additional levels and features, detailed and showcased in the second trailer for the game.

First, we have the Poochy Pups: those cute little buggers follow you around in Mellow Mode, and help you find the various secrets hidden in the levels. Second, we have the Poochy Dash stages, which are brand new: they allow you to play with Poochy himself, in order to rack up lots of bonus beads.

Also, just like in the original, you can unlock various designs for Yoshi by completing certain requirements in-game, or by scanning specific amiibo. But in Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World, there will be an additional way to customise your Yoshi’s appearance: you can create a design yourself! Even better: you can share your creation with other players via StreetPass.

Finally, Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World features some stop-motion animated short, created by Dwarf, allowing players to get a glimpse of Yoshi and Poochy’s daily lives.

Here’s the second trailer for Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World on Nintendo 3DS:

Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World (3DS) will be released on January 19th in Japan, and February 3rd in Europe and North America.
