During this event, you can earn double Stardust for catching Pokémon and hatching Eggs. If you make a stop at PokéStops and Gyms, you can collect special 2km Eggs that can unusual Pokémon inside (Chansey, Mareep, or Larvitar for example). And in the in-game shop, special boxes with items such as lucky Eggs, Lure Modules, and the brand-new Super Incubators (that hatch Eggs 1.5 times faster) can be found.
But that’s not all! This event also allows you to get loads of XP, with registering a new Pokémon to your Pokédex earning you triple the usual amount of XP!
