Pokémon GO
Today, the latest event for Pokémon GO went live: the Global Catch. It runs until November 26th, and its goal is pretty simple: all players have to catch a total of 3 billion Pokémon, in just 7 days.
Here’s the rewards for this event:
- Bronze (500 million Pokémon): XP x2 for 6 hours, and more Pokémon appearing globally;
- Silver (1.5 billion Pokémon): XP x2 for 6 hours, 2 Stardusts, and more Pokémon appearing globally;
- Gold (3 billion Pokémon): XP x2 for 6 hours, 2 Stardusts, Farfetch’d available worldwide, Kangaskhan available in East Asia, and more Pokémon appearing globally.
Also, Niantic launched Pokémon GO Travel: a series of videos to “see the world through the eyes of a Pokémon Trainer”. It was inspired by the stories of players going abroad to play Pokémon GO with new people.

Pokémon Bank / Poké Transporter
Today, Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter received an update, bringing both to Ver. 1.4. The purpose of those update is to make the former compatible with Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and the latter compatible with Pokémon Gold and Silver (the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console release, obviously). You can find more details about both updates on this page!
