Pokémon Shuffle

Today, the latest set of new and returning content for Pokémon Shuffle went live:

  • the Ultra Challenge featuring Tapu Koko is now available until May 15th;
  • the Great Challenge featuring Shiny Charizard is also available until May 15th;
  • the Great Challenge featuring Omastar is also available until May 15th;
  • the Great Challenge featuring Breloom is also available until May 15th;
  • the Great Challenge featuring Piplup (Winking) is also available until May 15th;
  • the Great Challenge featuring Zekrom is also available until May 15th;
  • the latest set of Daily Pokémon include Fan Rotom, Frost Rotom, Heat Rotom, Wash Rotom, and Mow Rotom. They’re available until May 15th;
  • the latest One Chance Per Day stage featured Jellicent (Female), and is available until May 15th;
  • the Competitive Stage featuring Mega Pinsir is available until May 15th;
  • the Pokémon Safari featuring Burmy Trash Cloak, Deerling, Morelull, Venonat, Sawsbuck, Shiinotic, Pikachu (Angry), Venomoth, Wormadam Trash Cloak, and Wimpod is now available, until May 15th.

Pokémon Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon, Sun, Moon

Today, the rules for the Special Battle Season 9 in Pokémon Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon, Sun, Moon were revealed. Here’s all you need to know:

  • When: from May 15th to July 10th
  • Games: Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, and Pokémon Moon (separate rankings for the Ultra games)
  • Rules: Inverse Battles (type chart inverted, with non-effective move becoming effective)
  • Battles: Double Battles, 4 Pokémon out of 6 sent to battle
  • Pokémon allowed: all Pokémon from the National Pokédex, with the exception of Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Magearna, and Marshadow
  • Level: 50 (lowered if above that)
  • Items: all allowed, but duplicate hold items are forbidden
