Pokémon Sun and Moon (Battle Competition)

Today, a new Battle Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon was announced. It’s called the 2017 International Challenge May, and here’s everything you need to know about it:

  • Format: Double Battles, 4 Pokémon per battle;
  • Pokémon restrictions: only Pokémon caught, traded, hatched, or received as Mystery Gift in Pokémon Sun and Moon, that can found in the Alola Pokédex (also, only the Alolan form of Pokémon from the Kanto region can be used);
  • Pokémon banned: Zygarde, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, and Magearna;
  • Item restrictions: all items allowed except Mega Stone. Two Pokémon cannot be holding the same Hold Item;
  • Level: 1 to 100, but level capped to 50 during battles
  • Registration: May 17th to May 25th. Participant limit: 50 000
  • Battles: May 26th to May 28th, with a limit of 15 battles/player and /day;
  • Results: announced sometime in June;
  • Participation gift (must complete at least 3 battles): Tyranitarite, Abomasite, and Manectite Mega Stones. Also, some participants will also receive some Championship Points.

Pokémon Shuffle

Today, some new content for Pokémon Shuffle went live:

  • an Escalation Battle feat. Incineroar is now available until May 16th;
  • a High-Speed Challenge featuring Salazzle is now available until May 16th;
  • a special stage featuring Alolan Ninetales is available until May 16th;
  • the Passimian Try ’em’ Items stage is now available periodically.

Also, all players get an Alolan Vulpix as a special Log-in Bonus, until May 30th.

Pokémon Duel

Today, a new event for Pokémon Duel went live: it’s the Water Gym Cup, which is running until May 10th. Here’s what you need to know about it:

  • Water-type Movement 1 and 2 figures = +1 Movement
  • Grass-types figures = +20 Attack (for each attack)
  • Gym Boosters available, with the contents increasing with your winning streak (full list of rewards can be found on Serebii). Said boosters have to be redeemed before May 16th

Pokkén Tournament

Today, another event for Pokkén Tournament (on Arcade) went live, and features the following:

  • a new Mission Panel to complete, with web premium tickets (7 days), items for your avatar, and new titles to unlock;
  • a new Special Bonus, with returning Support Pokémon, new skills, clothing items for your avatar, and more to unlock;
  • a new outfit for your avatar.
